普通 Checking 開戶獎勵歷史新高 $500 來了！而且 Direct Deposit 的要求並不高，只需要三個月總共 $1,000 即可。而且用 LemFi 轉賬就可以搞定。活動 10 月 6 日截止

開戶獎勵要求如下：

  • 開戶時需至少存入 $25；
  • 開戶後，90 天內完成 Direct Deposit，總額 $1,000 以上；（直接用 LemFi 轉賬就可以搞定，非常穩）
  • 在開戶獎勵入賬前需要確保 Checking 餘額大於 0

關於 Wells Fargo 銀行

富國銀行（Wells Fargo＆Company）是一家美國跨國金融服務公司，總部位於加利福尼亞州舊金山，在美國各地設有中央辦事處。按市值計算，它是全球第四大銀行；按總資產計算，它是美國第四大銀行。他們的一個污點是曾有員工盜用用戶資料，私自替用戶開通了很多信用卡。另外，他們家的信用卡也比較奇特，只能由綠卡持有人或公民申請。也有資料點顯示，持有他們的 Checking，也能申請到信用卡。

Direct Deposit

如果你不想或者沒有工資可以完成 DD，可以選用下面一些非官方的途徑轉賬（ACH）或者提款（Withdraw）來滿足 $1,000 的要求（來源：DOC）。步驟就是將 Wells Fargo 加入為另一家銀行的 external bank，然後發起轉賬。或者將 Wells Fargo 加入投資或者 PayPal 帳戶，直接提款錢就行。

  • ACH 轉賬：Chase、Discover、AMEX Serve
  • 投資帳戶：Schwab、Fidelity、Robinhood
  • 其他：PayPal、Venmo
  • 由於 Wells Fargo 的資料點較為不穩定，建議大家查看：DOC 的總結

根據網友回報，滿足 DD 條件後，幾個工作日內開戶獎勵就入賬了。所以如果你還沒入賬，可以換別的辦法。你可以去當地分行開戶，可以在上述連結中選擇 in-branch，取得一個優惠碼。如果你是 F1 resident，可以直接網上開戶，可能需要提供額外資料。例如駕照/State ID、學生簽證、護照、信用卡帳單等等。

費用

Everyday Checking $10 月費，做到以下三條任何一條就可以豁免

  • 每月 10+ 次扣賬卡簽賬或付款（正常刷卡或者網上消費均可）
  • 每月 $500 的 Direct Deposit，可以分多筆
  • 每日結餘至少 $1,500（每天結算時的結餘都要高於這個數）
  • 將此帳戶連結至 Wells Fargo Campus ATM 或 Campus Debit Card
  • 17-24 歲的人無月費

另外這三個 checking 都沒有 early termination fee，意味著理論上你拿到開戶獎勵，就可以關戶了。。不過建議還是多持有一會

儲蓄戶口（暫無獎勵）

現在又出了一個 儲蓄戶口 $525 的開戶獎勵，需要開戶時存入 $25，並且 30 天內存入 $25,000 且維持 90 天。如果你是舊用戶，也有專門的連結可用。不過都需要去當地 Wells Fargo 銀行開戶。這個優惠還不錯，按年化利率計算，大概是 8.4% 左右，如果有閒錢，可以考慮搞搞。當然最好是 checking、saving、premier checking 都安排上。premier checking 的開戶獎勵，如果你要做的話，saving 裡存的錢也會計算在內。所以相當於可以順便多賺一份 saving 的開戶獎勵。

儲蓄戶口雖然有 $5 月費，但豁免條件很容易滿足，第一條每日最少 $300 餘額是最容易的。

  • 每個費用週期從連結的 Wells Fargo checking account 至少自動轉入 $25 到儲蓄戶口。1 automatic transfer each fee period of $25 or more from a linked Wells Fargo checking account

這個帳戶本身有 $35 月費，如果你在 Wells Fargo 的總存款（包括支票戶口、儲蓄戶口、定期存款（CDs）、FDIC 保險的 IRA 和投資戶口等）達到 $250,000 或以上，就可以豁免。

我的點評

如果能成功開戶，獎勵還是不錯的，而且 direct deposit 的要求也不高。如果你對其他開戶獎勵感興趣，可以考慮以下優惠

支票戶口的開戶獎勵需要報稅，銀行會在第二年寄出 1099INT，按利息收入申報即可。
