如果你沒有薪金收入，或不想用薪金完成 DD，可以透過以下一些非官方方式轉帳（ACH）或提款（Withdraw），以滿足 $1,000 的要求（來源：DOC）。做法是將 Wells Fargo 新增為另一家銀行的 external bank，然後發起轉帳；也可以將 Wells Fargo 新增至投資或 PayPal 帳戶，再直接提款。

據網友回報，符合 DD 要求後，開戶獎賞通常會在幾個工作天內入帳。如果獎賞未入帳，可以改用其他方式。你可以到當地 Branch 開戶，並在上述連結中選擇 in-branch，以取得優惠碼。如果你是 F1 resident，也可以嘗試網上開戶，但可能需要提供額外文件，例如駕駛執照／Statee ID、學生簽證、護照、信用卡月結單等。
費用
Everyday Checking 月費 $10，符合以下任何一項即可豁免：
- 每月進行 10 次或以上扣賬卡 purchases or payments（一般刷卡或網上消費均可）；
- 每月有 $500 Direct Deposit，可分多筆入帳；
- 每日 balance 至少 $1,500（每天結算時的餘額均須高於此金額）；
- 將此帳戶連結至 Wells Fargo Campus ATM 或 Campus Debit Card；
- 17 至 24 歲人士可免月費。
另外，這三種 checking 帳戶均不收取 early termination fee，理論上領取開戶獎賞後便可關戶。不過，仍建議多持有一段時間。
Saving（暫無獎賞）
現在又推出一項 saving $525 開戶獎賞：開戶時存入 $25，並於 30 天內存入 $25,000，且維持 90 天。如果你是現有客戶，也有專用連結可用。不過，以上都需要到當地 Wells Fargo 分行開戶。這項優惠不錯，按年化利率計算，回報約為 8.4%；如果有閒置資金，可以考慮參加。當然，最好把 checking、saving、premier checking 都辦妥。如果你要參加 premier checking 開戶獎賞，存於 saving 的資金也計算在內，因此還可以順便多拿一份 saving 開戶獎賞。
儲蓄帳戶雖然收取 $5 月費，但豁免條件很容易達成，其中最容易的是每日最低 $300 結餘。
