eBay 將無法使用 AMEX 卡付款「 8 月 17 日生效」

根據 Bloomberg 消息，eBay 將於 2024 年 8 月起停止接受 AMEX 付款。主要原因還是認為 AMEX 的手續費太高。這裏所指的無法付款，應該是指直接以 AMEX 卡在 eBay 付款；如果是透過 PayPal 連結的 AMEX 卡，估計仍可在 eBay 正常付款。

EBay on Wednesday notified customers about the change, which is set to take effect Aug. 17.

“After careful consideration, eBay has decided to no longer accept American Express globally effective August 17 due to the unacceptably high fees American Express charges for processing credit card transactions,” the company said in a statement.
