Citi 與 Mastercard 合作，在美國推出「True Name」項目，可更改信用卡上的姓名

早在六月份，Mastercard 公司就推出了 True Name 項目。持卡人可以更改自己信用卡上的姓名，讓名字更貼近自己的「真實」身分。

For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, the name on their credit, debit or prepaid card does not reflect their true identity. As a result, for the transgender and non-binary communities in particular, the card in their pocket can serve as a source of sensitivity, misrepresenting their true identity when shopping and going about daily life.

現在 Citi 也加入了這個項目，你可以更改自己的 preferred name，之後卡面上就會更新成你所設定的 preferred name，客服聯絡時也會使用你填寫的名字。更改方式如下：

• 登入你的 Citi-branded credit card 帳戶（或致電信用卡背面的電話號碼）。在 Profile 之下，前往 Contact Information。
• 點擊「Use a Preferred First Name」，輸入你慣常使用的名字，然後按儲存。
• 如果你有 Citi® banking account，可之後再留意扣賬卡的更新。如欲了解更多，請瀏覽 citi.com/updatemyname。

怎麼說呢，個人覺得這的確迎合了部分群體的需求。但是銀行很可能要為此承擔盜刷數量上升的風險。
