Citi 與 Mastercard 合作，在美國推出「True Name」計畫，可更改信用卡上的名字

早在六月份，Mastercard 公司就推出了 True Name 計畫。持卡人可以更改自己信用卡上的名字，讓名字更貼近自己的「真實」身分。

For many in the LGBTQIA+ community, the name on their credit, debit or prepaid card does not reflect their true identity. As a result, for the transgender and non-binary communities in particular, the card in their pocket can serve as a source of sensitivity, misrepresenting their true identity when shopping and going about daily life.

現在 Citi 也加入了這個計畫，你可以更改自己的 preferred name，之後卡面上就會更新成你所填寫的 preferred name，客服聯繫時也會使用你填寫的名字。更改方式如下：

• Log in to your Citi-branded credit card account (or you can call the number on the back of your card) .

  Under Profile, go to Contact Information.

• Click “Use a Preferred First Name,” enter the first name you go by and click save.
• If you have a Citi® banking account, check back for debit card updates. To learn more, visit citi.com/updatemyname.

怎麼說呢，個人覺得這確實迎合了部分族群的需求。不過銀行也很可能因此承擔盜刷增加的風險。
