Chase 最近在與多家媒體交流中表示，計劃取消硬性的 48 個月申請限制，改為由 Chase 自行判斷的機制（類似於 AMEX 彈窗）。據稱這項變動將於 2025 年 6 月 23 日正式實施。目前這項新規則主要針對 Sapphire Reserve 和 Preferred 卡。其他卡種可能暫時不受影響，仍按現行規則申辦（原規則是：如果在 48 個月內曾拿過 Sapphire 的開卡獎勵，再申請便會直接無法通過）。
