萬豪一直有個會員生日福利，在你生日的時候送你一個定級房晚（birthday Elite night credit），用於保級、衝級所需的定級房晚數。萬豪聯名卡每年可以送 15 個定級房晚，加上生日這一晚，總共就有 16 晚了，離 Platinum 還差 19 晚。如果再在酒店開個會再獲得 10 晚定級房晚，你每年只需要再住 9 晚就可以保級。

萬豪在與 SPG 合併之前，這個福利一直都很穩定。基本上不會漏發，但自從與 SPG 合併後，這個定級房晚大面積漏發。筆者去年都能正常收到，今年 11 月底再次生日的時候就發現沒有寄送。

補登的方法主要有兩種：

  • 直接聯絡客服（電話、電郵或推特等）
  • 註冊 Marriott Insiders 論壇，發起申請

前一個方法被證明效率低，客服經常也不能第一時間幫你解決，還需要開 case 調查，唯一的好處是有可能先收到 1000 points 的 Good Will points，但後續大多數情況都補登不了。

Marriott Insiders 實際上是萬豪會員的一個論壇，透過這裡發送補登申請就容易多了。

如果你的 SPG 帳戶還沒有與萬豪合併，且二者是同一個電郵信箱，你只需註冊一次 insiders 帳戶，找到 CustomerSupport 發起申請

填寫基本資料後，隨便寫個內容，寫好 request birthday Elite night credit 即可

通常第二天就可以收到回覆，客服的回覆較為「萬金油」

1. That your birthday was listed in your account before it occurred
2. That you have had a stay in the last year
3. That you are subscribed to receive all correspondence from Marriott Bonvoy including the News & Program Information, and Offers from our Partners

If you can confirm the above please let us know by replying to this message from your Insiders inbox(not your email) and we will look into adding your birthday Elite night credit.
If your birthday was less than 10 days ago please wait a full 10 days to see if you receive an email with a link to collect your birthday Elite night credit before reaching back out to us to look into it on your behalf.

Please keep in mind this is not a free night stay and credit from previous years cannot be added this year


收到這則回覆後，你在 Marriott Insiders 回覆中說明「符合上述三個條件，且沒有收到 credit」即可。

注意每年只能補登當年遺漏的生日定級房晚。
