本文來自讀者隆冬的投稿。這個開戶獎勵不需要 direct deposit，沒有 monthly fee，也沒有最低存款限制，算是很容易拿到。doc 裏搜尋了一下所有文章，目測是史高。活動沒寫 deadline，但我懷疑得在 4 月 13 日以前。去年 5 月 $200+$100 我想跳，結果告知活動已經結束了。

關於 GESA
GESA 是一家只在 ID, WA & OR 三個州才有業務的 Credit Union，由 NCUA 承保（類似於 FDIC）。個人存款 $250,000 以內全額保障。大致分佈如下
開戶和獎勵
目前有個很不錯的 promotion，開 SmartPlus Checking 獎勵 $200，一年後 anniversary 周年再送 $150。這裏提到的 $1,000 獎勵，是推薦朋友每人 $100，上限 10 人。
另外，開戶獎勵可以疊加推薦獎勵，也就是開戶可以拿到 $200+$100 推薦獎勵，一年後再拿 $150。點擊右上角「Join Gesa」開始申請，並輸入推薦碼（大家可以在評論區自取，也歡迎留下你們的數據點和推薦邀請碼）。
要想拿推薦獎勵，new member 需要同時開一個 SmartPlus Savings（同樣也沒有 monthly fee，也沒有最低存款限制）
New members must open a savings account and a SmartPlus Checking account to be eligible for the referral incentive (s) . The checking account must be opened with a minimum deposit of $25 if opened online. No minimum ongoing balance is required to obtain the referral incentive (s) . Referral incentives will be paid by direct deposit into the member’s savings account and within 60 days of the SmartPlus checking account opening.
拿獎勵需要滿足以下條件：
- 必須開 SmartPlus Checking，其他 Checking 不算；開戶前 90 天內不能有任何 Gesa 的 checking；每人只能有 1 個 SmartPlus Checking
- 註冊 Online 或 Mobile Banking；
- 設定 electronic statements；
- 開戶 60 天內，用扣賬卡完成 10 筆 transaction（筆者用來付 medical bill，每次 1 美仙。不知道 Cash App 轉賬算不算，歡迎在評論區分享 dp）

- 必須在 Washington State 居住、上學、工作，或參加宗教 worship 活動；又或者有近親符合這個條件；或者
- 是 Idaho 或 Oregon 以下 Counties 的 Resident

一旦成為它家的 member，之後搬離這些地區也沒關係。所以不必擔心一年後的 anniversary 獎勵拿不到（原文）
開戶存錢
如果是 online 開 SmartPlus Checking，首次至少存 $25 initial deposit；如果親身去 branch，則首次至少存 $5 initial deposit。如果開 SmartPlus Savings，無論 online & branch 都是首次至少存 $5 initial deposit。建議各存 $30，不給對方任何賴賬關戶的機會。
信用卡充值
有 dp 顯示，credit card funding 到 $5,000 是沒有問題的。成功的 credit card funding 目前有
個人不推薦這種方法。如果要嘗試，最好也先存個 initial deposit 滿足 checking savings 要求，再去考慮要不要完成 credit card 開卡獎勵。畢竟，就算有 NCUA 承保，萬一倒了錢肯定能拿回來，但扯皮也要花時間。我們的目的，是躺着把羊毛薅了。
其他費用
180 天內關戶，會有 $20 early account termination fee。
我的開戶經歷
它家發獎勵非常爽快，筆者 3 月 16 日開戶，不到 30 天已經拿到了 $200 獎勵。
Refer 獎勵的 $100 都是開戶成功後第二天拿到。
Checking 和 Saving 利率
SmartPlus Savings：現時前 $500 可享 7%，只需要設定好 eStatement
SmartPlus Checkings：如果滿足以下條件，現時前 $5,000 可享 7% 利率
- 設定好 eStatement
- 每月有 $200 以上的 direct deposit
- 每月完成 15 筆 debit transaction
- 設定好 email address 並確保一直有效（我猜是用來發廣告）
為了避免日後扯皮 promotion 的結束時間，筆者去 branch 開戶時，特地拍照留底，證明當天 promotion 還在，博大家一笑。
