Citi 和 Barclays 將延長同行票（Companion Pass）的有效期，2020 年 3 月 31 日之後到期的券將延長至 2021 年 6 月 30 日。同時，透過較高消費金額取得的 AA 折扣券，其有效期亦會延長 6 個月。
We’re pleased to offer a 6-month extension to Flight Discount certificates with an expiration between March 31, 2020 and May 31, 2021 held by existing Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select cardmembers. Also, existing Citi / AAdvantage Business Platinum cardmembers who hold a companion certificate with an expiration date of December 31, 2020 will receive a 6-month extension, with these certificates expiring on June 30, 2021.Existing AAdvantage Aviator Red, Silver and Business cardmembers who hold a companion certificate with an expiration date between 3/31/2020 and 5/31/2021 will be extended through 06/30/21.
這種情況之後應該會愈來愈常見，希望 AA 還是能撐下去，不然里數估計會大幅貶值。
另外，Citi 的 AA 高階卡將退回 $225 年費，算是可以留住一些高階客戶吧。不過需要在 2020 年 3 月 31 日之前已持卡的用戶才符合資格。老實說，這張 AA 高階卡如果不飛 AA，其實幾乎沒甚麼用。。
