關於 Upgrade

我們前面介紹過 Upgrade 的信用卡，也提及過最早的 Upgrade Everyday Savings（已無法申請）。最近 Upgrade 又推出了 Upgrade Premier Savings 儲蓄帳戶，跟 Upgrade Everyday Savings 的特點其實是一樣的，而且就算已經開了 Everyday Savings，依然可以持有 Premier Savings 儲蓄帳戶，並且有存款獎勵。注意，如果持有 Upgrade Checking 帳戶，可以秒批這個存款帳戶

這家銀行大家可能了解得不多，但至少都有存款保障，所以安全性上沒什麼問題。

Rewards Checking Plus is FDIC-insured up to $250,000 through Cross River Bank, Member FDIC.

When you sign up for the Premier Savings product through Upgrade, you will open a Premier Savings account at Cross River Bank, Member FDIC under the terms of your Savings Deposit Account Agreement and agree to participate in a custodial deposit program offered by Upgrade and Cross River Bank (the “Program”) .
Your funds at Cross River Bank and at a Participating Institution are eligible for FDIC or NCUA insurance coverage up to $250,000 per ownership category and per institution.

Checking 帳戶

開戶獎勵（暫無）

這個 checking 現在提供 $200 的開戶獎勵，需要在 45 天內完成總共 $1,000 的 direct deposit.

疊加獎勵（暫無）

開戶可以疊加 Swagbucks 的 $120，總共可以拿到 $320，具體步驟如下：

現金回饋功能

其實這個 checking 還是有點用的，本身的簽帳金融卡有 1% 的特定消費現金回饋，其餘 0.5%。特定類別包含便利商店、藥局、餐廳、加油、定期帳單支付，以及定期的手機、網路、電視和串流服務付款。

如果你每個月有 $1,000 的 direct deposit 到 checking，就會變成特定消費 2% 現金回饋，其他是 1%

Rewards Checking Plus customers who set up monthly direct deposits of $1,000 or more earn 2% cash back on common everyday expenses at convenience stores, drugstores, restaurants and bars - including deliveries - and gas stations, as well as recurring payments on utilities and monthly subscriptions including phone, cable, TV and other streaming services, and 1% cash back on all other debit card purchases. 2% cash back is limited to $500 in rewards per calendar year; after $500, customers earn 1% cash back on all eligible debit card purchases for the remainder of the year.

Rewards Checking Plus accounts with less than $1,000 in monthly direct deposits 60 days after account opening will earn 1% cash back on common everyday expenses and 0.50% cash back on all other eligible debit card purchases

這家銀行還提供三張比較有趣的信用卡，如果你搭配信用卡一起開 checking，會有 $200 的開戶獎勵

Saving 帳戶

開戶獎勵（暫無）

現在開 Saving 帳戶，最高可以送 $200 的獎勵。另外還可以享受 4.14%APY。這個開戶獎勵其實一般般，但搭配這個高利率帳戶，還算不錯，資金也不算浪費。

具體要求如下。注意必須在 30 天內存滿，存款必須維持 60 天。

申請材料

如果你持有 Upgrade checking 帳戶，則開戶秒批。

如果你沒有支票帳戶，則需要提供很多材料，具體包括：

  • 僅支援社會安全號申請
  • 4506-C
  • 自拍照
  • 政府身分證件（可用護照）
  • 近兩年的稅表（聯邦稅）
  • 最新的 W-2

此外，還有以下幾點：

  • 手機支援網路電話，如 Google Voice 等
  • 不支援非居民外國人（NRA）線上開戶，但是銀行並不嚴格執行此政策。
  • 帳戶提供一張簽帳金融卡
  • 獎勵會發 1099-INT 稅表（RA）或者 1042-S (NRA)，這兩張稅表對身分都沒有要求，可以正常報稅。
