前一陣不少部落客爆出 Emirates 阿聯酋航空部分航線的哩程需求突然提高的消息，例如 杜拜 到歐洲以及美國幾個城市的哩程都上漲了 20% 左右。這下 Emirates 也主動回應了。
總的來說，就是在 12 月 22 日-2023 年 1 月 31 日期間，不少航線的頭等艙和商務艙所需哩程都將提高（按照目前幾條航線來看，大概在 20% 左右）。當然，也算是給了一點甜頭。Platinum 會員的哩程獎勵從 75% 提升到 100%, Gold 從 50% 提升到 75%, Silver 從 25% 提升到 30%。顯然他們照顧的是用現金買票賺哩程的人，而不是我們這種靠轉點取得哩程的人。
In line with current market conditions, Emirates Skywards is introducing an increase on Skywards Miles required for Upgrade Rewards and Classic Rewards booked in Business Class and First Class. The increase will be gradually introduced on reward tickets across the Emirates network between 22 December 2022 and 31 January 2023.To reduce the impact of this change on our most loyal customers, we will be increasing the bonus Skywards Miles earning opportunities for all Platinum, Gold and Silver members travelling with Emirates.On all Emirates flights booked from 31 January 2023 onwards, Skywards Platinum members will earn a further 100% of the Economy Flex+ Miles earned on a given route (increasing from 75%) ; Skywards Gold members will earn 75% of the Economy Flex+ Miles earned on a given route (increasing from 50%) ; and Skywards Silver Members will earn 30% of the Economy Flex+ Miles earned on a given route (increasing from 25%) .
總之，以後想享受土豪航空的雙艙，就得付出更高的代價了。
