消費現金回饋

這張卡最大的特色就是現金回饋的計算方式。規則是每個帳單週期內，消費最多的類別可拿 3% 現金回饋，消費第二多的類別可拿 2% 現金回饋，其餘消費則是 1%。以下 8 個類別會計入 2%/3% 的回饋類別。（具體條款）

Travel 類別包括：

  • airlines, hotels, motels, and resorts; plus cabins, cruises, cottages, hostels, and more.

Dining & Nightlife 類別包括：

  • restaurants, carry out, drive-throughs and delivery; plus, bars and liquor stores.

Groceries 類別包括以下幾種。有 wholesale club 和便利商店，這點還是很不錯的。

  • convenience stores, bakeries and delis, wholesale clubs, and more.

Entertainment 類別包括：

  • movie theaters, concerts, game stores, books, amusement parks, music stores, and more.

Bills & Utilities 類別包括：

  • phone and internet, streaming services, electric, gas, water and more.

Ground transportation 包括：

  • rental cars, taxicabs, ride share merchants, limousines, bus lines and passenger railways. This category also includes tolls, parking meters and parking garage fees.

Health and Beauty 類別包括：

  • Drug stores and pharmacies that sell prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and may also sell related items such as cosmetics and toiletries, and cosmetic stores that sell beauty products. This category also includes sports and recreation facilities that require membership such as health clubs, tennis, golf and swimming clubs.

Gas 類別包括：

  • Service stations that sell engine fuel.

需要注意的是，這些消費類別取決於商家的 MCC。一般大型商家通常不會有問題，小店則有小機率會分錯類。如果你要刷大額消費，可以先用小額消費測試看看。

舉個例子，如果你在 travel 消費 $1,000、吃飯消費 $500、超市消費 $2,000，那麼超市類別的所有消費就是 3% 現金回饋，旅行的所有消費是 2%，吃飯和其他類別則是 1%。

如果想要穩定拿到 3% 現金回饋，最簡單的方法就是只集中在某一個類別消費，因為 2% 的意義就沒那麼大了，畢竟還有像 Double Cash 這種穩定回饋的卡。不過如果你沒有其他 2% 的卡，也可以認定兩個主要消費類別來刷。

缺點

  • 非 1% 的現金回饋，每個類別每年限制消費 $10,000。
  • 下卡不太容易，對信用分數要求比較高。

我的點評

發卡行 Synchrony 是小銀行，但這張卡 G 點很低，非常不耐刷。在境外刷太多會被風控，刷太少也會被風控，總之就是很麻煩。唯一的好處是，Synchrony 對 bill pay 不敏感。Dining、Grocery 適合在中國刷支付寶，Bills & Utilities 則是現在微信支付的類別。因此這張卡非常適合在中國使用，唯一的麻煩就是容易被風控。

如果你在微信支付有大筆消費，這張卡能穩定拿到 3% 還不錯。就算超過 200rmb，有 3% 手續費也可以和 3% 現金回饋互相抵銷。現在微信支付的使用範圍非常廣，所以值得為了這個 3% 專門申請。
