【2025.11 更新】现在普通 Checking 开户奖励是 $325/$400，而且 Direct Deposit 的要求并不高，只需要三个月总共 $1000/$3000 即可。

开户奖励要求如下：

  • 开户时需至少存入 $25；
  • 开户后，90 天内完成 Direct Deposit，总额 $1000/$3000 以上；
  • 在开户奖励到账前需要保证 Checking 余额大于 0
  • 现在不能有 Wells Fargo Checking, 12 个月内不能关过他家 Checking 账户

他家一个黑点就是曾经有雇员盗用了用户的数据，私自给用户开通了很多的信用卡。另外，他家的信用卡也比较奇葩，只能给绿卡或者公民申请。也有数据点说持有他家的 Checking，也能申请到信用卡。

Direct Deposit

如果你不想或者没有工资可以完成 DD，可以选用下面一些非官方的途径转账（ACH）或者提现（Withdraw）来满足 $1000 的需求（来源：DOC）。步骤就是将 Wells Fargo 添加为另一个银行的 external bank，然后发起转账。或者将 wells fargo 添加到投资或者 paypal 账户，直接 withdraw 钱就行。

  • ACH 转账：Chase 、 discover 、 amex serve
  • 投资账户：schwab 、 Fidelity 、 robinhood
  • 其他：paypal 、 venmo
  • 由于 Wells Fargo 的数据点较为不稳定，建议大家查看：DOC 的总结

根据网友汇报，满足 DD 条件后，几个工作日内开户奖励就到账了。所以如果你没到账，可以换别冒充的办法。

你可以去当地 Branch 开户，可以在上述链接中选择 in-branch，获取一个 promo code。如果你是 F1 resident，可以直接网上开户可能需要提供额外的材料。比如驾照/Statee ID 、学生签证、护照、信用卡账单等等。

费用

Everyday Checking $10 月费，做到以下三条任意一条就可以免除

  • 每月 10+ 次 debit card purchases or payments（正常刷卡或者网上消费均可，）
  • 每月 $500 的 Direct Deposit，可以多笔
  • 每天至少 $1500 的 balance（每天结算时的额度都要高于这个值）
  • Link this account to a Wells Fargo Campus ATM or Campus Debit Card
  • 17-24 岁的人无月费

另外这三个 checking 都没有 early termination fee，意味着理论上你拿到开户奖励，就可以关户了。。不过建议还是多持有一会

Saving（暂无奖励）

现在又出了一个 saving $525 的 offer，需要开户时存入 $25，并且 30 天内存入 $25k 且保持 90 天。如果你是老用户，也有专门的链接可用。不过都需要去当地 wellsfargo 银行开户。这个 offer 还不错，按照年化利率计算，大概是 8.4% 左右，如果有闲钱，可以考虑搞搞。当然最好是 checking 、 saving 、 premier checking 都安排上。premier checking 的 offer，如果你要做的话，saving 里存的钱也是算的。所以相当于可以顺便多撸一份 saving 的开户奖励。

Saving 虽然有 $5 的月费，但是免除还是很容易的，第一条每日至少 $300 是最容易了。

  • 每日最少有 $300 余额。$300 minimum daily balance
  • 从 checking 至少自动转了 $25 到 saving. 1 automatic transfer each fee period of $25 or more from a linked Wells Fargo checking account
  • 每天从 checking 自动转了 1 笔到 saving. 1 automatic transfer each business day within the fee period of $1 or more from a linked Wells Fargo checking account
  • 从 checking 至少用 Save as you go 功能转了 1 笔资金。1 or more Save As You Go® transfers from a linked Wells Fargo checking account. A qualifying Save As You Go transfer is an automatic transfer of $1 from your linked Wells Fargo checking account to your Way2Save Savings account each time you (or any authorized signer or joint owner) use your debit card for a one-time purchase or complete a Bill Pay transaction through online banking, and the one-time debit card purchase or Bill Pay transaction posts to the account. 这个账户本身有 $35 的月费，如果你在 wells fargo 的总的存款大于 $250，就可以免除。账户包含 checking 、 saving 、 cd 、 ira 、投资账户等等

我的点评

如果能成功开户，奖励还是很不错的，而且 DD 的要求并不高。如果你对其他的开户奖励感兴趣，可以考虑下面几个 offer

Checking 账户的开户奖励是需要报税的，银行会在第二年发送 1099INT，按照利息报即可。
