【2025.8 更新】KeyBank 更新了他们的产品线，现在有三种 checking 产品，可以最高拿到 $500 的奖励！而且要求其实都比较好满足，大家可以根据自己能 Direct Deposit 的金额来定选哪个 offer。

三种 checking 的奖励不一样

  • Smart、Hassle-Free Checking：只需要 90 天内 direct deposit 总额到 $2000 即可
  • Select Checking：只需要 90 天内 direct deposit 总额到 $5000 即可

DD 完成的方式也很简单，除了工资换到这个账户外。用 paypal 直接 withdraw 到这个 checking 就可以。还可以用 discover、wellsfargo 等银行来 ACH 转账。各大券商 withdraw 也可以激活。所以大家其实弄这个 select checking 比较好。Select 有月费（前三个月免），之后需要每个月 DD $3k 才能免，但是 keybank 取消了 early termination fee，你可以考虑拿到奖励以后关。也可以每月 DD，弄满一年 $60k，额外还能有 $100 奖励。

关于 KeyBank

另外，这个账户限制了只有 AK, CO, CT, ID, IN, MA, ME, MI, NY, OH, OR, PA, UT, VT,  WA 这几个州可以开。

现在你可以选择三种账户，前面两种免月费的，最多只有 $300 奖励，反正没费用，拿了奖励一年后关户即可。后面这个 $500 的有月费，但是可以通过 DD 来免除，而且还有每年额外 $100 奖励可以薅。我们下面详细介绍一下

Key Select Checking 介绍

这个账户有三个特点：

  • 有利息：我看了下，只有 0.05%APY，相当于没有，不用考虑了

Key Select Checking Account is an interest-bearing account. Annual Percentage Yields (APY) are accurate as ofAugust 29, 2025, for zip code 44114. 0.05% APY applies to balances of $0.00-$2,499.99, 0.05% APY on balances $2,500-$4,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $5,000-$9,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $10,000-$24,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $25,000-$49,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $50,000-$99,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $100,000-$249,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $250,000-$499,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $500,000-$999,999.99, 0.05% APY on balances $1,000,000 and above.

  • $25 月费：需要 key bank 账户中有 $15k 资金可以免除（没必要，利息太低，除非买他家 CD 或者投资账户）；或者每个月 DD $3000，也可以免除（做这个还可以）

The combined balance in any combination of KeyBank checking, savings, certificates of deposit, retirement deposit, and Key Investment Services LLC (KIS) accounts was $15,000 or more during the statement cycle.

  • $100 年度奖励：需要每年至少 DD 总额 $60k，最后两个月中必须要有一次 DD。所以结合之前的免月费要求，你可以考虑每个月 DD $5k

To qualify for the $100 bonus, ALL of the following three requirements must be met. Eligible direct deposits:

  • Must total at least $60,000 during the Evaluation Period.
  • Are electronic automated clearing house (ACH) deposits. Examples of eligible direct deposits include, but are not limited to: payroll, Social Security, pension and government benefits. Deposits made through a teller, ATM, or the KeyBank mobile app are ineligible direct deposits.
  • At least one eligible direct deposit transaction (in any amount) must be received within the final two calendar months at the end of the Evaluation Period.

如果你真要弄，建议把这个账户当做还信用卡的账户，每月 DD 进 $5000，然后还了信用卡花光即可。

Direct Deposit

如果在美国工作过或者在学校担任 RA/TA 的人对这个应该很熟悉。Direct Deposit（DD）就是雇主给雇员发放工资的一种常见的方式，钱会直接通过“电子转账”的方式打到你的银行账户中。如果你有工资，直接把收取工资的帐号改成你需要完成任务的银行账户就行了。

如果没有工资的话，或者不方便改的话，可以通过假 DD 的方式来实现。常见的假 DD 方式有银行转账，投资账户转账，Paypal 等第三方工具转账等等。下面是 DOC 总结的符合假 DD 的办法。最方便的就是用 paypal 转账了，你可以用其他银行账户转钱进 paypal，然后把新开的银行账户输入到 paypal, withdraw 到新账户就搞定了。同理 venmo 也行。如果你有 robinhood 或者其他的投资账户，应该也可以。
