【更新 2】笔者前面的情况,等候几天后,重新登陆 Fi app,自动好了。所以之前 reddit 上的建议是对的,B003 就是谷歌设备跟 Sim 卡之间没对接好,你只需要等两天就可以重新激活了。

【更新】谷歌活动的手机都是自带 Sim 跟 Fi app 的,B003 错误的一部分来源是里面的 app 版本太低了,更新一下就解决了。更新了 app 还解决不了,就换卡,或者等几天。


前几天 Google Fi 出了一个不错的撸手机活动,虽然不是完全免费,不过抵用等值的 Fi Credit 也是很不错的,参考:

Google Fi 的 Sim 卡激活过程中会出现多种错误,主要都是以 B 开头的,比如 B046(美国境外激活会出现,这个也很好解决,后续介绍)。购机活动的设备激活则会出现 B003 错误,本文主要讲 B003.

B003 错误

笔者撸了 Moto 的烂手机,发货很快,第二天就收到手机了。这个购机,Fi-Sim 是直接帮你装好在手机里面的。然后激活的时候并不是很顺利,笔者遇到了 B003 这个古老的错误。

根据错误界面提示,猜测主要原因是激活速度过快?个人建议你收到手机后,先晾几天(去去病毒)再慢慢激活。

这个错误在很久以前,主要出现在 google Project Fi 购机活动中,购买 google 自家的 Pixel 手机,激活 Sim 卡会出现,并且现在 Pixel 5 的机型还存在。参考客服给我的回复:

解决办法

reddit 上关于这个错误就有不少讨论,reddit 读者提供的办法其实很有效,很简单:

  • 更新 app,再试,不行就等几天
  • 等几天,再试,不行就考虑换
  • 使用新的 Sim 卡来激活

可以自己重新 order Sim 卡(免费),BBY/AMZ 上购买 $10 预充卡;或者找客服,申请寄送新的 Sim,一般会加急,隔日达。

官方给的解决办法

Google 官方给的解决办法挺有意思的,前几条都是套话,第五、六比较新,可以学习下。

Step 1:  Check for app updates【可破】

Check for Hangouts, Messenger, and Google Fi app updates
Go to Play Store app > My apps > Select the app (Hangouts, Messenger, Google Fi.)
If it says “Update,” tap the button to update the app. If it says “Open,” then the app is already updated to the latest version

Step 2: Check for system updates

Go to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for update. If there is any update available, please make sure you update the software

Step 3: Check Data usage and Permission settings

Data usage shouldn’t be restricted for the following apps:

  • Google Fi
  • Google Play Services
  • Carrier Services
  • Hangouts
  • Android Messages
  • Dialer

Tap the back arrow from the top to return to the App info. Tap Data usage. The wording will differ depending on the OS.

  • If you see “Background data”, the switch should be ON.
  • If you see “Unrestricted data usage”, the switch should be ON.
  • If you see “Restrict background data”, the switch should be OFF.
  • Return to the Apps & Notifications page and repeat this process for the rest of the relevant apps listed above.

Step 4:  Restart device in safe mode

Running your device in safe mode turns off all third-party apps, and is a great way to figure out if any device issues are being caused by third-party apps. Also, rebooting a device will sometimes prompt software updates, or even fix an issue entirely. This will give us an opportunity to try that, as well.

  • Press and hold your phone’s power button.
  • On your screen, touch and hold Power off . Tap OK.
  • Your phone starts in safe mode. You’ll see “Safe mode” at the bottom of your screen. Please find the complete information about “safe mode” in the link. I request you to use the device in safe mode for some time and check.

Step 5: Dialer Codes

  • Dial *#*#FIINFO#*#*(same as *#*#344636#*#*)- Shows the current network information.
  • Dial *#*#FISPR#*#* (same as *#*#34777#*#*) – Switches to Sprint.
  • Dial *#*#FIUSC#*#* (same as *#*#34872#*#*) – Switches to US Cellular.
  • Dial *#*#FITMO#*#* (same as *#*#34866#*#* ) – Switches to T-Mobile.

Step 6: Fix network issues

Dial *#*#FIXME#*#* Same as *#*#34963#*#* and check if the issue gets resolved.

If the issue still persists please help us with the below information so that we can escalate the issue to the specialist.

  • Where does the issue happen? (Be as specific as possible, i.e. address or cross streets)
  • What partner network is the phone connected to at this location when you dial the code *#*#344636#*#* .
  • How many signal bars are on your phone at this location?
  • What network icon is next to the signal bars?
  • How many signal bars are on your phone at this location after switching?
  • What network icon is next to the signal bars?
