Q3 2026 and the second half of the year have started. If you have any of the cards below, now is the time to use the Q3 and second-half credits. I’ve organized them by second half, then Q3. I’ve also added a few recent off-the-beaten-path methods that have been working for reimbursements lately; if you really have nothing else to use, you can try them.
Reimbursement benefits for the second half of the year
- Chase Marriott: Limited to $250 in airfare spend in the second half of this year, get $50 back (the airline’s own website works, UATB can also trigger it, and buying tickets on Chinese airline websites also works)
- Chase IHG Premier credit card, Chase IHG Premier Business business credit card: $25 semiannual UA Travel Bank reimbursement, automatically deposited into the linked UA account, and it expires if you don’t use it. You can buy a small-ticket flight and get it refunded as flight credit
- AMEX Hilton Aspire credit card: $200 semiannual Hilton Resort spend reimbursement (book a prepaid room and cancel later if needed; make sure it is a resort and don’t book the wrong one; it’s working again!)
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: Edit Credit hotel reimbursement of $250 every half year, with a minimum stay of two nights. (Really hard to use.)
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: Dining credit for Visa Sapphire Reserve Tables, $150 every half year. Free fancy meals. (Some restaurants allow gift card purchases.)
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: $150 StubHub credit every half year: use it yourself, or buy popular tickets and resell them. Either way, it’s free money (buying and reselling tickets between your own hands)
- Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $200 every half year for ZipRecruiter
- Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $50 every half year for Giftcards.com: you need to buy through the https://www.giftcards.com/reservebusiness page for it to be reimbursed
- AMEX Platinum Card, AMEX Business Platinum:: $300 FHR reimbursement, issued as $300 every half year, so you need to use it before year-end. (Rollover still works, so you can save it up.)
- AMEX Gold: $50 Resy reimbursement every half year. Just book a restaurant on Resy.
- Citi Strata Elite: $100 Blacklane chauffeur service every half year.
Reimbursement benefits starting in Q3
- AMEX Hilton Aspire credit card: $50 quarterly airline spend reimbursement (UA Travel Bank can trigger it, unchanged)
- Hilton Surpass: Hilton hotel spend reimbursement, calculated quarterly, $50 per quarter. (No resort required; any regular hotel works.)
- Hilton Business version has a Hilton hotel reimbursement, calculated quarterly, $60 per quarter. (No resort required; any regular hotel works.)
- AMEX Platinum Card (including all versions): quarterly Lululemon reimbursement of $75 (buying a physical gift card in store can trigger it, but the minimum may now be $100)
- AMEX Platinum Card (including all versions): quarterly Resy reimbursement of $100 (you need to find eligible restaurants on Resy’s website, then just charge it to the card for reimbursement)
Of course, there are also some monthly reimbursements that expire on a monthly basis, so if you can use them, don’t forget to spend them
- AMEX Platinum Card: $25 reimbursed every month, currently only usable on Peacock, Audible, SiriusXM, The New York Times, and YouTube, usually for memberships. Need to enroll before using
- AMEX Platinum Card: for the first 11 months of the year, the Uber account gets $15 in credit, and in December it gets $35. The credit expires at the end of each month. Pay for Uber One with this card and it will be reimbursed. Multiple Platinum cards can be added to the same Uber account to stack the credit.
- AMEX Gold also added Uber reimbursement, $10 per month.
- Marriott Brilliant also has a $25 monthly dining reimbursement after the update.
- AMEX Gold also has a $10 monthly reimbursement, but it is limited to Grubhub, The Cheesecake Factory, Goldbelly, Wine.com, Milk Bar, and select Shake Shack. Don’t get the merchants wrong.
- AMEX Business Platinum: $10 per month for wireless service category spend, $120 total per year. Cell phone bills should trigger it; just prepay $10 into the account every month. It’s a real benefit, and you can refer to:
- AMEX Delta Platinum credit card, AMEX Delta Reserve credit card, AMEX Platinum Delta SkyMile Business business credit card, AMEX Delta Reserve Business business credit card: these Delta cards each reimburse $10 per month for rideshare expenses: Uber, Lyft, Curb, Revel, Alto, and Visa all work, limited to the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- AMEX Delta Platinum credit card: $10 per month for dining spend on Resy.com, use it after creating a resy.com account.
- AMEX Delta Reserve credit card: $20 per month for dining spend on Resy.com, use it after creating a resy.com account.
- AMEX Platinum Delta SkyMile Business business credit card: $10 per month for dining spend on Resy.com, use it after creating a resy.com account.
- AMEX Delta Reserve Business business credit card: $20 per month for dining spend on Resy.com, use it after creating a resy.com account.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $25 per month, broken into three parts, $5 + $10 * 2. It’s annoying, but usable.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $10 per month
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $10 per month
The various 2026 reimbursements have refreshed, so you can do them again! Use the timing summary below to keep track. Anything based on calendar year / half year / quarter / month (calendar year/half year/quarter/month) can be done again now. Some reimbursements are based on membership year, so they do not reset on a calendar-year basis.

Annual reimbursements (Jan-Dec); I recommend checking them one by one so you don't miss any
- AMEX Business Platinum: annual Dell reimbursement of $150 (best to buy in advance, since the charge won't post until it ships)
- AMEX Platinum Business: this card added a new reimbursement benefit, a $50 Hilton spending credit each quarter. Note! This benefit must be enrolled in to take effect. There are no restrictions on the spending; any Hilton hotel charge qualifies, including room rates, hotel dining, and entertainment activities. Since it's already December, if you have the card, hurry up and use this credit (based on Aspire experience, booking prepaid hotels should work as long as the charge posts). enroll link
- AMEX Platinum Card, AMEX Business Platinum: airline reimbursement, requires selecting a specific airline. (You can use UA TravelBank to trigger it; you need to choose UA, and the airline selected last year carries over automatically.)
- BofA Premium Rewards, BofA Premium Elite cards (offers $100 or $300 in reimbursement, reimbursement roundup)
- Chase Ritz-Carlton credit card: $300 annual airline incidental reimbursement, requires calling or sending a secure message
- Citi Prestige ($250 reimbursement, statement closing date in December)
- Crystal Visa Infinite Credit Card: $350 airline spending reimbursement
- AMEX Delta series: spending must be made at delta.com/stay; see below for details
- AMEX Platinum Card (including all variants): $300 Equinox membership reimbursement
- Citi Strata Elite: $200 Splurge reimbursement each calendar year, choose American Airline, Best Buy.
- Citi Strata Elite: $300 hotel reimbursement each calendar year, must be booked through Citi Travel
- Citi AA Globe has a $100 splurge reimbursement each year: includes 1stDibs, AA Hotels hotel bookings, Future Personal Training, and Live Nation. It seems like AA Hotels bookings are the only ones with much value.
Reimbursements by cardmember year
Here I want to briefly mention a few other reimbursements that are based on the cardmember year. A cardmember year means you can use the reimbursement once within a card cycle. For example, if you open the card on July 1, you can only use the reimbursement once through June 30 of the following year; it refreshes on July 1 of the new year. Make sure you keep track of the timing so it doesn't expire.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: $300 travel reimbursement by cardmember year
- Chase Ritz Carlton: $300 airline incidental reimbursement by cardmember year
- Capital One Venture X: $300 annual travel credit, but it can only be used for bookings made through Capital One Travel. It is calculated by cardmember year and refreshes on each anniversary; any unused amount expires.
- Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card offers a $50 hotel reimbursement each cardmember year, and you need to book through Chase Travel to get it. There are DP reports saying that if you book a hotel and then cancel it, the reimbursement is not clawed back.
Airline reimbursements (calendar year)
There are quite a few reimbursements that reset by calendar year, so everyone can start using them in 2025. It's best not to wait until the last minute. If you have related travel plans, use them all if possible. Also, if you plan to close a card this year, it's best to use up all the reimbursements first and then close the card, so you can maximize the value.
Note that this list only includes calendar-year reimbursements. If something is based on the cardmember year (anniversary), remember when your annual fee is charged and calculate it that way.
AMEX cards
The reimbursement rules for the cards below are all the same. You need to first select an airline. At the beginning of the year, you can directly change the airline you want to use for reimbursement; if you don't, it will default to the same one as last year.
- AMEX Platinum Card series (reimbursement of $200; other versions of the Platinum card also have the same reimbursement)
- AMEX Business Platinum (reimbursement of $200; other versions of the business Platinum card also have the same reimbursement)
- For details, see: AMEX airline incidental reimbursement
A special note on Aspire: this card has been updated, and the airline reimbursement has become $50 per quarter, so it's best to use it up before March 15.
- $200 airfare reimbursement (replacing the old $200 airline incidental reimbursement): $50 per quarter. Purchases made on the airline's website or in AMEX Travel can be reimbursed, including airfare, baggage fees, seat selection fees, and so on. It does not include other activities or change fees, and it does not include gift cards. Based on testing from last year's fourth quarter, topping up UA TravelBank can also trigger the reimbursement
- AMEX Hilton Aspire credit card [detailed breakdown of changes and new data summary]
BofA cards
BofA reimbursements are relatively flexible. Although they are described as airline incidental reimbursements, AA gift card spending and UA TravelBank can also trigger the reimbursement.
- BofA Premium Rewards (reimbursement of $100, reimbursement summary)
- BofA Premium Elite card (offers $300 in reimbursement)
Chase cards
Both the Chase IHG personal card and business card have a $50 UA TravelBank reimbursement, calculated separately for the first and second half of the year, with $25 for each half. Remember to use up the automatic top-ups in your account before year-end.
The Chase Ritz-Carlton credit card's airline incidental reimbursement is also $300 per calendar year. However, the credit does not reimburse automatically; you need a corresponding charge first, then request reimbursement via secure message or by calling the number on the back of the card. So it's safer to make a purchase in advance and let it post to the card first. If you want to take an unconventional route, you can try booking a refundable Southwest ticket, then paying to change it to business class on another date and using the change fee for reimbursement. After that, refund the ticket back to the card and you're done~
Citi cards
Citi Prestige card has very broad reimbursement coverage and can be used for travel-related expenses like airfare, checked baggage, hotels, and more. Just pay with this card directly.- Citi Prestige ($250 credit)
Also, the AA globe card offers a $100 annual in-flight purchase credit each calendar year. You need to use this card for purchases on AA flights. The most worthwhile use is probably duty-free items on international flights.
Other cards
The Crystal card probably isn’t widely held, but it also offers a $350 airfare credit based on the calendar year, though it’s limited to U.S. domestic routes.
- Crystal Visa Infinite Credit Card: $350 credit
Hotel credits
FHR and Hotel Collection credit
AMEX Platinum Card (including the other Platinum Card versions) gets a $200 FHR hotel credit each year. Prepaid bookings are charged immediately, and you’ll receive the credit right away. You can now change the dates after booking, but you’ll need to pay any price difference.
Hilton hotel credit
AMEX Hilton Aspire credit card: A special mention for Aspire, since this card was refreshed last year. The $400 Hilton Resort Credit (replacing the original Resort $250 credit benefit) is split into $200 every half year; the first-half credit likely expires after 6/30. Eligible purchases cover a wide range of expenses, such as room charges, in-room dining, hotel restaurants, activities, and more. Note that eligibility is based on when the charge finally posts to the card, so try not to make purchases right around 6/30. Prepaid hotel bookings should work for reimbursement.
Also, Hilton Surpass has a Hilton hotel credit, calculated quarterly at $50 per quarter. The eligible expenses are the same as for the Aspire card above.
The Hilton Business version also has a Hilton hotel credit, calculated quarterly at $50 per quarter. The eligible expenses are the same as for the Aspire card above.
SouthwestAMEX Platinum Business: This card added a new reimbursement benefit, a Hilton spending credit of $50 per quarter. Important: this benefit must be enrolled in to take effect. There are no spending restrictions here; any Hilton hotel charge works, including room rates, hotel dining, and entertainment activities. Since it’s already December, if you have this card, make sure to use the credit soon (based on Aspire experience, as long as the charge posts for those prepaid hotel bookings, you can get the reimbursement). enroll link
Delta co-branded cards
Delta Gold and other co-branded cards also added a hotel credit after the refresh, but you have to use the card on Delta.com/stays, meaning Delta’s own travel site.
- AMEX Delta Gold: $100 per calendar year
- AMEX Delta Platinum credit card: $150 per calendar year
- AMEX Delta Reserve credit card: $200 per calendar year
- AMEX Gold Delta SkyMile Business credit card: $150 per calendar year
- AMEX Platinum Delta SkyMile Business credit card: $200 per calendar year
- AMEX Delta Reserve Business credit card: $250 per calendar year
Citi Strata Elite
Citi Strata Elite has a $300 hotel credit each calendar year. You need to book hotels through Citi Travel, and you must book at least two nights to use it. Any unused amount will automatically carry over to the next time.
Miscellaneous credits
Saks credit
AMEX Platinum Card (including the other Platinum Card versions) can get $100 in Saks spending credits each calendar year, with $50 from January through June and $50 from July through December. Don’t forget to use it. See:
Saks usually has relatively high cashback rates, so don’t forget to combine it with a cashback portal when shopping. Rakuten often offers 10%-20% cashback.
Clear credit
AMEX Platinum Card, AMEX Green, and Platinum Business each have a $209 Clear credit per calendar year. You can consider using this credit to stack cashback portal bonuses; in practice, it’s fine even if you don’t actually go through in-person verification. In addition, after the refresh, Hilton Aspire also offers Clear credit, so remember to use it before year-end.
Dell credit
AMEX Business Platinum now gives a free $150 credit, and then you need to spend $5,000 to get $1,500 in reimbursement back. Note that Dell gift cards sold on Dell’s website are not processed by Dell itself, so they probably won’t trigger the credit. Only some third-party game gift cards may trigger it. Of course, if you use it to buy items on Dell, it should work just fine. Biz cards often have a Dell.com 10% cashback AMEX offer around mid-year and year-end, so if you’re willing to wait, you can stack them.
Oura Ring credit
AMEX Platinum Card gets a $200 Oura Ring credit each year: purchase must be made on the official website. You need to enroll before using it.
Lululemon credit
AMEX Platinum Card gets $75 per quarter, or $300 total per year, in Lululemon credits. Online or in-store purchases both qualify, U.S. only. You need to enroll before using it.
Resy dining
AMEX Platinum Card gets $100 per quarter for Resy restaurants, or $400 total per year in dining credits. You need to enroll before using it.
Delta AMEX Gold gets a $50 Resy credit every half year; just book restaurants on Resy.
Splurge credit
Citi Strata Elite has a $200 Splurge credit each calendar year. You need to log in to citi.com/splurgecredit first and choose the merchant for reimbursement. There are currently four merchants: Live Nation, Ticketmaster, American Airline, and Best Buy. I think only AA and Best Buy are really useful: AA can be used to buy airfare, and Best Buy stores have plenty of third-party gift cards, even Visa gift cards.
Citi AA Globe has a $100 splurge credit every year: covers 1stDibs, hotel bookings on AA Hotels, Future Personal Training, and Live Nation. Looks like the AA Hotels booking is the only one with much value.
Blacklane
Citi Strata Elite has $200 in Blacklane chauffeured car service credit every year, issued in two $100 installments every six months, official website
Other
These reimbursements may not be very useful for most people. If you don't need them, I wouldn't force an AMEX Business Platinum
- $250 Adobe: Eligible purchases of $600+ for Creative Cloud for teams and Acrobat Pro DC under Adobe prepaid plans can get a $250 reimbursement. It doesn't look easy to cash out, so it's still better suited for small-business users to use themselves.
- $360 Indeed: Spending on the Indeed website each quarter can get a $90 reimbursement, $360 total per year. It doesn't look easy to cash out either, so it's still better suited for small-business users to use for hiring and the like.
AMEX Platinum has a $300 Equinox credit and a $240 Rakuten entertainment credit; if you can use them, great. If not, don't force it.
Monthly reimbursements
Actually, quite a few cards have monthly reimbursement amounts, so I'll mention them here as well so everyone remembers to use them
Entertainment subscription credit(Entertainment)
AMEX Platinum Card series has $300 in annual entertainment-related credit: $25 reimbursed per month. Currently it can only be used on Peacock, Audible, SiriusXM, The New York Times, and YouTube, usually as a membership fee. Requires enrollment before use
Uber credit
AMEX Platinum Card series gets $200 Uber credit + $100 Uber One each year: add your Platinum Card to your Uber account, and your Uber account will become VIP, letting you enjoy perks like better vehicle options. At the same time, for the first 11 months of each year the Uber account gets $15 in Credit, and $35 in December; the Credit expires at the end of each month. If you pay the Uber One membership fee with this card, it will be reimbursed. Multiple Platinum Cards can be added to the same Uber account and stack the Credit together.
AMEX Gold card also now has Uber credit, $10 per month.
Dining credit
Marriott Brilliant also has $25 per month dining credit after the changes.
AMEX Gold also has $10 per month in credit, but only for Grubhub, The Cheesecake Factory, Goldbelly, Wine.com, Milk Bar, and select Shake Shack locations. Don't mix up the merchants.
Mobile phone bill credit
AMEX Business Platinum added $120 Wireless after the redesign: $10 per month in reimbursements for wireless service-category spending, $120 total per year. Mobile phone bills should trigger it. A $10 Dell charge should do it. It's a real, tangible benefit. You can refer to:
AMEX Dell gift card
Rideshare credit
These Delta cards reimburse $10 per month for rideshare: Uber, Lyft, Curb, Revel, Alto, and Visa can all be used, limited to United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Note that you need to enroll in this benefit ()
- AMEX Delta Platinum credit card:
- AMEX Delta Reserve credit card
- AMEX Platinum Delta SkyMile Business commercial credit card
- AMEX Delta Reserve Business commercial credit card
Resy.com credit
- AMEX Delta Platinum credit card: $10 per month dining credit on Resy.com, used for dining purchases after creating a resy.com account.

DoorDash credit
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $25 per month, split into three parts: $5 + $10 * 2. It's annoying, but it's usable
Lyft credit
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $10 per month
Peloton credit
- Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve Business: $10 per month
Annual-per-cardholder-year credits
Here's a quick mention of some other credits that are based on the cardholder year. A cardholder year means you can use the credit once during each cardmember cycle. For example, if you open the card on July 1, you can only use the reimbursement once until June 30 of next year; it refreshes on July 1 of the new year. Make sure you keep track of the timing so it doesn't expire.
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: $300 travel credit per cardholder year
- Chase Ritz Carlton: $300 airline incidental credit per cardholder year
- Capital One Venture X: $300 annual travel credit, but it can only be used for Capital One Travel bookings. It is calculated by cardholder year and refreshes on each anniversary; any unused balance from the old period expires. It's basically a $300 off coupon. The good thing is that this coupon can still be used across multiple orders—for example, book something for $200 and get $200 off, then book something for $600 and get the remaining $100 off. However, after the changes, the $300 reimbursement is deducted directly, and you can no longer earn 10x points on it.
- Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card offers a $50 hotel credit per cardholder year, which can be used when booking hotels through Chase Travel. There are DPs showing that if you book a hotel and then cancel it, the reimbursement is not clawed back..
