[Update 2026.1] Newly linked credit card accounts can now automatically pull in the due date, so you finally no longer have to look it up and enter it yourself. In addition, the transaction feature has also been improved and can now distinguish between pending charges and posted charges.

  • This is available for newly linked accounts. For older accounts, you currently need to unlink and reconnect them first (that is how it works for now, though this may be improved later). After reconnecting, the tracker and transaction data may take some time to update automatically (this is also being optimized).
  • This transaction update is also very practical. You can instantly see which cards have pending charges at a glance. This is especially helpful for fraudulent charges: instead of checking each card one by one, you can view transactions across all your cards in a single app.

Rewards Wise has both a free version and a paid version.

  • The free version already includes many useful features, such as viewing card benefits, reminders for various statement credits/reimbursements, and manual tracking. Overall, it is one of the more complete apps on the market.
  • The core feature of the paid version is access to transaction data from connected cards. All your credits/reimbursements, minimum spending for welcome bonuses, and benefit usage can be tracked automatically, so you no longer need to keep records by hand. After upgrading, you can also enable multiple profiles, letting you manage all of your family members’ credit cards as well. Right now, if you use our promo code US101, you can get $10 off the paid version, bringing the annual fee down to just $39.99.

About RewardsWise

As we all hold more and more cards, how to efficiently manage credit cards and their associated benefits has become a major problem. Traditional personal finance apps usually focus only on listing transactions and generating charts, and they are often lacking when it comes to tracking credit card benefits. Recently, we came across a credit card management tool called RewardsWise. After using it for a while, I think it fits our habits pretty well. The app has a free version that lets you flexibly record your cards and track benefit usage. The paid version lets you link your credit card accounts and pull in all transactions in real time for viewing and analysis.

In addition, I have had multiple conversations with the developers and feel there is room for deeper collaboration to further refine and optimize this app so it better matches everyone’s needs. I have already shared suggestions for some new features and participated in a small part of their update testing. Their update speed has been quite fast, and they execute very well. So if you have ideas while using it, feel free to send them to us as feedback. It is actually pretty interesting for all of us to help make this app more useful together.

It now supports iOS / iPadOS / macOS (including M1) / VisionOS, and the Android version is also live. So it is basically available across all major platforms, which is very convenient.

Basic Features

As a management app, its feature design is quite detailed. The supported banks and regions currently cover the US, Canada, and Hong Kong.

  • US: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Capital One, BofA, US Bank, Wells Fargo, and more, with nearly full coverage.
  • Canada: AMEX, RBC, TD, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, MBNA, National Bank, Simplii, Tangerine, and more.
  • Hong Kong: AMEX, HSBC, Standard Chartered, DBS, Citi, Hang Seng, Dah Sing, Mox, and more.
  • Support for more regions will be added in the future.

For the basic features introduced below, we will note the differences between the free and paid versions.

Wallet

The home page is the Wallet page. You can add credit cards either manually (free version) or by linking bank accounts for automatic import (paid version). After adding cards, you can view:

  • Total annual fees (displayed automatically)
  • Credit limits (set manually, or pulled automatically in the paid version)
  • Expiration reminders (all set manually)
  • 5/24 status (you need to manually enter each card’s approval date)
  • Total card balances (paid version only)
  • Card list

You can tap into each item for more details. In the card detail page, you can view specific cash back rules, benefit information, and more.

Promo code

You can search by card name or filter by issuing bank to add a credit card.

After adding a card, you can configure it in detail for easier ongoing use, especially for tracking welcome bonuses and various benefits. You can directly define your own points valuation. For example, if you value Chase points at 1.6 cents per point, you can enter that; if you think they are worth only 1.3 cents per point, you can set that instead. Then when the app recommends which card to use, it will automatically choose the card with the highest effective cash value after conversion.

Best Card

In addition to the basic card overview functions, the app will also automatically rank your cards and show which card you should use for different spending categories based on the cards you hold. As mentioned earlier, you can define your own points valuations, which makes these recommendations more accurate.

The return rate shown here can be customized based on your own points valuations to calculate effective cash back.

Tracker

One of the biggest headaches for everyone is missing out on various statement credits, free night certificates, and welcome bonuses. On the Tracker page, you can see the usage status of valuable benefits across all your cards. You can also create custom trackers based on your own welcome bonuses. In the free version, you need to manually update benefit usage and welcome bonus progress. In the paid version, benefit usage and minimum spending progress can be filled in automatically, which is much more convenient.

Paid Version Overview

Linking

RewardsWise uses Plaid to link your credit cards, which allows it to read basic information such as transaction history across all of your cards. This data is only for the user’s own viewing and use. We’ve covered Plaid before—many brokerages and bank transfer services use Plaid for linking and verification. All login information is transmitted securely through Plaid. RewardsWise simply provides the linking page and connection channel, and does not store users’ account usernames, passwords, or similar information.

Features

After linking your cards, you’ll be able to see the transaction history from all of them. To me, the most convenient part is that once you start using this app, you no longer need to check each bank separately for transaction records—you can view everything together right inside the app.

Another very convenient feature after linking is that all of your spending trackers and welcome bonus trackers can automatically log activity based on your transactions, so you no longer have to worry about missing a signup bonus!

Multiple Accounts

Some people need to help family members manage their credit cards. With this app’s multi-account feature, you can manage your family’s cards and track their usage as well. In the settings menu at the top left, you can add a separate account for each person and switch between them quickly.

Pricing

The paid version is available on either a monthly or annual plan. The regular price is $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.

They are offering our readers an extra discount: in the first year, after applying the promo code, you can get $10 off, bringing the annual price down to $39.99. You can activate this discount with the promo code at any time.

  • Go to Settings → Promo Code to redeem it.
  • Enter US101 and the discount will be applied successfully. It will show the first-year price as $39.99.

Comparison With Similar Services

Overall, RewardsWise’s strengths are its comprehensive tracking of card benefits and its powerful customization features. It’s also a cross-platform app, so you can access it seamlessly across different devices. Its paid plan is also relatively affordable at just $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. We’ve also recommended some similar services on our site, so here’s a quick comparison:

  • Empower: A free personal finance tracking tool that can also link bank accounts to pull in credit card transaction data. The downside is that it only records transactions—it can’t track your card benefits or help monitor whether you’ve used those benefits.
  • MaxRewards: Another credit card management app with both free and paid tiers. It mainly focuses on US credit cards and lacks support for cards from other regions. One notable feature is that it can add things like AMEX Offer to your accounts. However, that feature requires you to provide your login information directly to them. Pricing is $96 per year, with no monthly option.
  • CardPointer: Primarily supports US and Canadian cards. Users in other countries can add custom cards, but the higher level of customization also makes it harder to use. Pricing is $7.99/month, $71.99/year, or $239.99 lifetime.

US Credit Card 101 x RewardsWise Partnership

I met the founder of RewardsWise in August 2025, and before that I had already come across quite a few of his promotions for the app on Xiaohongshu. At first, we were only planning a simple promotion for the app, since many readers who hold multiple credit cards would likely find a tool like this useful to reduce the mental load.

After learning more about the app, I felt this was a great partnership opportunity. On one hand, those of us who are deeply into the credit card hobby can keep providing product feedback and optimization ideas, and they can respond quickly with updates and improvements. On the other hand, in the future we may also be able to integrate blog content and information alerts into their app, combining day-to-day card management with notifications to create a better ecosystem of credit card-related tools.

So if you’re also interested in an app like this and want to provide feedback on your needs in a timely way, you can join the WeChat group below and help make this app better and more suitable for our community.
