Citi ThankYou Points Adds Wyndham as a Transfer Partner, Up to 1:1 Ratio

Citi removed the ability to transfer to AA on November 13, but it quietly added Wyndham as a transfer partner. If you have the Citi Premier or Prestige, the transfer ratio is 1,000 to 1,000. For cardholders with ThankYou Preferred, Reward+, or Double Cash, 1,000 points transfer to 800 points. In terms of value, transferring TYP to Wyndham is still not especially attractive, but having another option is always good.

It looks like Citi will definitely differentiate between these two types of cards going forward. The annual-fee versions get the better ratio, while no-annual-fee cards can still transfer but at a lower ratio. That's actually not a bad approach.
