Wyndham and Caesars Status Match [2022.3 Update: Match Terms Changed; Some Elite Statuses Clawed Back]

[2022.3 Update] The terms for matching to Caesars have changed. A new rule was added that basically means the elite status you use for the match must be earned, and status that is about to expire may also be ineligible. In addition, quite a few people who matched into Caesars Diamond were recently downgraded to Gold, which also suggests Caesars is tightening its reciprocal match policy.

Please Note: You must have earned Tier Status with your current loyalty program in order for your status to be matched. Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa.

How to Match

Now that your Caesars Diamond has expired successfully, don’t forget to match back from Wyndham Diamond.

Select “I'm a Wyndham Rewards member” to do the match. You only need to enter your Wyndham account number with Diamond status, and the match should complete in about 7 business days.

Here’s a recap of the Caesars/Wyndham status-match loop and how it works:

Wyndham status expiration: January 1 every year
Caesars status expiration: February 1 every year

This time, your Wyndham Diamond has already expired, but your Caesars Diamond is still active, so match it back ASAP. Once your Caesars Diamond expires, use Wyndham Diamond to match back again. Diamond is the top tier with both programs. Wyndham Diamond has pretty good benefits in China (including confirmed suite upgrades when available). Caesars Diamond also has very solid benefits in Las Vegas.

Use Caesars Diamond at certain MGM hotels to match to MGM Gold or here (both require an in-person visit) — then match to Hyatt Explorist. After that, loop it back again and keep timing your renewals for an endless cycle!

It’s already a miracle that these two endless status-match loops have survived this long.
