As the saying goes, if you spend enough time by the river, sooner or later your shoes will get wet. Even if you followed all the steps, what should you do if you still didn’t receive the reward? Today I’ll share how to deal with missing rewards.

Contact Swagbucks Help

For most offers, you can contact Swagbucks directly. Here I’ll use claiming the Homechef 2000SB reward as an example. The steps are as follows:

  • Be sure to include the SB Offer you saw at the time, and upload a screenshot of the merchant’s order confirmation.
  • You’ll usually receive a reply within a day.
  • I personally had tracking fail twice, and both times it happened when I used the mac safari browser. You may also want to make sure all adblock features are turned off and try shopping with Chrome instead.

Contact Help From a Third-Party Partner

Besides the method above, if you completed the offer through a Swagbucks third-party partner link, you can also submit the issue directly through that partner’s Help page. This is often more efficient than submitting through Swagbucks. Third-party partners include: TrialPay, RadiumOne, OfferToro, Peanut Labs, Revenue Universe, AdGate Media, Kiwi Wall, AdscendMedia, SuperRewards.

Let’s use a Trial Pay offer as an example:

  • Under Support, you can see the Offers you clicked through Trial Pay and the Offers you have already completed. If it shows Completed, that means you received the reward normally for that Offer.
  • If you completed the steps, such as for the hulu offer, but the status still shows clicked, you can click Contact support and fill in the details.
  • Enter the time and submit some screenshots or the confirmation email.
  • Usually, the missing SB will be credited within a few business days.

How to Avoid Missing Rewards

Because Swagbucks uses your browser’s cookie to track whether you clicked through from its website, my suggestions are as follows:

  • Enable browser cookie and turn off adblock.
  • Make sure the offer is completed in one session. In other words, start from the SB website and go all the way through completing the offer without browsing other pages or clicking unnecessary links along the way.
  • If you received the reward the first time, keep using the same browser afterward.
  • If you miss rewards several times in a row, consider trying a different browser. If that still doesn’t work, you may need to switch operating systems.
  • Keep all your evidence. If you submit a claim using the two methods above, Swagbucks won’t refuse to honor it.
