【Updated 2020.5】 Home Chef has another great deal. Use code: PRODEGEDEAL to get $30 off. After completing the purchase, you can get at least $35 worth of Swagbucks. This is still a pretty good deal. The SB you earn will be pending for 30 days before you can use it. The detailed steps and how to cancel are below:

About This Deal
Through Swagbucks (a website for earning points online), click through to Home Chef and spend $10 to order ingredients for one dinner, and you can get 1500-4000 Swagbucks (worth $15-$40). Of course, remember to cancel the next few shipments.
Home Chef is a website that delivers meal ingredients. They put everything together for you and ship it to your door, and you only need to follow the instructions to make a delicious dinner. It currently ships once a week, with different dishes available each week. For details, see
One SB account can only get this Home Chef deal once.
How to Get It
【Note】Before you start, it’s best to turn off all ad blockers and restart your browser. Or use a browser that doesn’t have these extensions installed, otherwise the purchase may not track.
- Sign up for Swagbucks: Swagbucks sign-up link (300 SB sign-up bonus, credited at the beginning of next month)
- Search for Home Chef in the search bar, and you’ll see a 2500 SB offer
- Enter Home Chef, and you’ll see the $30 off automatically applied. Just click Sign Up in the upper right
- Enter your email and Zip Code. Home Chef is supported in most states in the US
- After clicking Continue, there is a chance you’ll also get $10 credit, but it can only be used for the second dinner
- Choose the two-person dinner option. You can enter any preferences; you can change them later
- Enter your payment method, address, and name
- Finally, you can see that after the $30 off, you only need to pay $19.8 (how to turn shipping into food is explained below) The exact price depends on the current deal
- Once the order is completed, you can modify the ingredients you want here
- First go back to the Swagbucks page. In My SB, you can see 3000 SB credited immediately (the amount varies depending on each offer)
- Go back to Home Chef and use the trick below to turn the $10 shipping fee into ingredients. First click the date for the first meal and choose Edit Meal; you can see how the price is calculated.
- Add one serving of fruit (or Smoothie)
- The total price changes, and there is no shipping fee anymore~ Of course, the reason is that orders over $45 ship free. Rather than paying for shipping, it’s better to add a fruit item
- The 3000 SB you earn can be redeemed for lots of gift cards, such as Amazon gift cards. For other redemptions like PayPal and eBay gift cards, see: SB redemption guide
How to Cancel Home Chef
If you only want to profit, be sure to cancel this meal kit service. The steps are:
- After completing the steps in the second section, immediately cancel all meals for the following month. Choose a date other than the first shipment, scroll all the way down, and select Skip Week
- Do the same to cancel the other shipments within that month. You can confirm in the calendar
- After you receive the first shipment of ingredients, go to Account Setting and choose Pause Account
- Some people say you can just Pause Account directly and the first shipment will still go through, but to be safe, it’s better to cancel for a month and pause after you receive it
Notes
- If you don’t want ongoing ingredient deliveries, be sure to cancel
- If you follow the steps and only add one fruit or smoothie, you don’t need to worry, because the fruit offsets the shipping fee. If you try to get clever and add both a fruit and a smoothie, or simply add another ingredient item, then pay special attention. It may look free, but after you save it and go back in to edit again, you’ll find that this order actually applied the $10 credit you previously received (the first order actually can’t use it, but Home Chef still shows it as available). The catch is that some people find they are still charged extra when the order ships, and the likely reason is that this $10 credit is actually not usable.
- The best-value redemption is to save up 2200 SB and redeem for a $25 Amazon, Walmart, or Target gift card
- You must click through to Home Chef from the Swagbucks link and then complete payment
- For an introduction to Swagbucks, see: Swagbucks guide
