About This Deal

Through Swagbucks, an online rewards site, you can click through to GoDaddy and register a domain for one year to earn 600–2000 Swagbucks (worth $6–$20), while only paying the $4.99 annual fee for one year of domain registration. After registering, just make sure to cancel auto renew.

Each SB account can only earn the GoDaddy deal once, and existing GoDaddy customers are not eligible. (In practice, using a different email makes you a new user.)

How to Get It

The numbers shown in the screenshots below depended on the promotion at that time. The exact offer may vary each time, but the steps are the same.

• Sign up for Swagbucks: Swagbucks sign-up link (get 400 SB for registering; see details here: How to get the signup bonus)
• Go to the offer page: RewardUniverse

• Find this GoDaddy offer and click the 2000 SB offer.

• Click Continue to enter GoDaddy, then choose a domain name you like and search to see whether it’s already taken.

• Then click Continue to Cart. At this point the domain defaults to two years, so make sure to change it to one year.

• After changing it, confirm the price is 4.99 + tax (the price varies by deal; the numbers in the screenshots are for reference only).

• Continue, create a new account, enter your email, and pay with a credit card. It’s recommended to use an email account you don’t use often, because registering a domain can result in a lot of spam email; actually, it’s better to use the same email as your SB account.
• After payment, be sure to check the email inbox you used. You’ll receive an email asking you to verify account, and you must complete that verification to receive this 1440 SB.

• After verification, wait 5–6 minutes, then refresh Swagbucks and you should see 1600 SB posted to your account (the SB amount varies by deal; the numbers in the screenshots are for reference only).

• After receiving the SB, it’s best to change the phone number on the account to avoid telemarketing calls. The calls can continue for a week and are very annoying.

Canceling the GoDaddy Domain

Of course, to avoid being charged again after one year, remember to turn off auto renew for the domain.
