Today I happened to notice that several Wells Fargo credit cards have been discontinued, and their application links now all redirect to the new Active Cash card. At the moment, there are only 3 personal cards left. My guess is that those other cards probably will not come back either. Personally, I think this strategy makes sense: follow Discover’s model of offering no-annual-fee cards and keep the lineup small but strong.
