United and grocery delivery platform Instacart have recently launched a promotion that lets travelers earn up to 10,500 extra miles by completing specified shopping tasks or subscribing to an Instacart+ membership.

- Base bonus: Successfully link your United MileagePlus and Instacart accounts, then complete your first qualifying order within 60 days to earn 500 miles.
- New customer bonus: New Instacart users (or users with no orders in the past 12 months) can earn an additional 5,000 miles by completing 4 qualifying orders within 8 weeks of linking their accounts, with each order’s merchandise subtotal at least $35.
