[11/14 Update] The 2,500 SB from the $9 donation finally posted, so Swagbucks did come through after all. This wraps up the whole situation, and Swagbucks turned out to be pretty reliable—some other sites probably would have refused to honor it. [11/11 Update] It had been about 21 days since the donation, so I contacted customer service. They said the points would be issued in a batch on 11/14; if you still don’t receive them, send screenshots and follow up. They also gave me 20SB as compensation for the delay. The good news is that the $9 donation should count as valid. Email below:

So donating $9 to get $25 means a $16 money maker. One of the best uses of SB is redeeming 2200SB for a $25 Amazon, Walmart, or Target gift card. You can also redeem 2500SB directly for $25 in PayPal Credit.
Each Swagbucks account can only earn the World Food Program donation deal once. Deals like this are usually limited-time offers, and once they expire, they’re gone.
How to Get It
- Sign up for Swagbucks: Swagbucks sign-up link (new users get 400SB; see this article for how to earn it)
- In the search bar at the top of Swagbucks, search for World Food Program and you should see this deal
- Click View Offer to go directly to the offer page, then choose the $9 donation option (minimum $9). Be sure not to check the box for recurring donations all year long.
- You can check out with PayPal or a credit card
- After checkout, you’ll reach the thank-you page, where your donation receipt will appear below. It’s best to save it as a PDF in case you need to contact Swagbucks for missing rewards.
- You’ll also receive an email from World Food Program. Keep it and don’t delete it—it can be used for tax deduction purposes. And it’s also useful for the reason mentioned above.
- Note: the SB from this offer does not post immediately, and it also won’t show as pending in your account. According to the terms, it should post within 21 days.
- If you’re concerned, you can follow the steps here to submit a request. Some people reported that after submitting, customer service credited the 2500SB right away. Personally, I trusted Swagbucks and planned to just wait.
