AMEX has released a round of Marriott offers. After activating the offer, use the eligible AMEX card to spend $375 at Marriott hotels and get $150 back. That works out to essentially 40% off your hotel stay.
Some users, however, received a slightly weaker offer instead. For example, I got one that gives $50 back after spending $250.
There is also another version: spend $1,000 and get $250 back, with a different scope of eligibility.
