【Updated 2026.2】This card seems to be back on Chase’s official website, and it’s currently offering 21 months of 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers right after approval. That basically means you can borrow interest-free for 21 months, as long as you make the minimum payment each month. Meanwhile, the previous replacement, the Chase Slate Edge credit card, has disappeared from the official site again, though it’s still available through referral links. Hard to tell what Chase is up to.
One important thing to note: although balance transfers (BT) are advertised at 0% APR, BT itself comes with a 5% fee. So if you’re really planning to use this card like a short-term loan, it makes more sense to put a large purchase on this card first and then pay it down gradually each month, instead of doing a BT and immediately losing 5% to fees. Large purchases could include major bills, or even buying Visa gift cards and then using the funds that way.

My Take
I have never applied for this card myself, because I haven’t been in that much of a cash crunch. But if you temporarily need some extra cash flow and are looking for a small short-term loan, this card could be worth considering as a way to free up funds through purchases.
How much of this 0% APR offer you can use depends on your credit limit. You can choose a Chase card with a high credit limit and move credit line over from another Chase card first. That way, you may be able to increase the amount eligible for 0% APR.
