Gas discounts
Now add your Shell Rewards account to the Chase Pay wallet, and from then on you can pay at Shell with Chase Pay. During the promotion period, once you buy 5 gallons with Chase Pay, you can get a $0.35 discount per gallon, up to 20 gallons. Even though the maximum savings is only $7 of gas, saving a little is still better than nothing. This promotion ends on December 31. Personally, I think this offers a new idea: if gas purchases can go through Chase Pay (a type of mobile pay), then when cards like Freedom have Chase Pay/Mobile Pay 5x bonuses, you can use this gas loophole to earn 5x on gas as well. It is a nice add-on.

Order Ahead dining discount
This promotion has ended, but new users can still get $5 off.
Without further ado, here are the steps:
- Download the Chase Pay app (search in the Android and Apple app stores)
- Log in with the username and password for your Chase online account (you may need to receive a verification code by text)
- In Order, choose a nearby merchant and add the food you want. Pay attention to the store’s closing time. Tap the cart, and you will automatically see the discount at checkout (if not, please try again)
- If you have never used it before, you can get $25 off + a new-user $5 off; if you have used it before, you only get $25 off. So adding around $30 or $25 is fine, and the remaining amount will be charged to your credit card (if the order is under $30, the discount can still be applied in full)
- After the reservation is successful, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address linked to your Chase account
- Note that there are a lot of people placing orders today, so after you place the order, it’s best to call the merchant to confirm they received it, then go pick it up in store.
If your household has multiple Chase online accounts, each account can claim it.

12/17 Update】You can now use Chase Pay to buy movie tickets on Atom Tickets and get $7 off. Atom Tickets sells AMC, Regal, and other movie tickets. If you have multiple Chase Pay accounts, buying one with each account is a pretty good deal. In addition, using the AMC Stubs trick can get you nearly free movie tickets, as follows:
