[Updated July 2022] There’s a pretty good offer this week: 10% off up to $5, with cash back in Bitcoin. Since Cash App is a debit card, you can do a lot with it—for example, using PayPal bill pay to pay credit cards is pretty good. Note: you need to add the offer before using it.
There are also some evergreen small deals; you can check the app yourself.
Cash App also recently added the Roundups feature, which rounds up purchases and sends the extra amount into Cash App to buy stocks, ETFs, Bitcoin, and more. You need to set it up and choose your preferences in advance. If you like saving small amounts, you can give it a try. Personally, I’d wait to enable it when there’s a promotion.

All Cash App deals require debit card spending (including Apple Pay), and you need to load money into the app first. The cash back percentage can vary by person—10% or 15%—but most offers cap out at $7.50 off per purchase.

We recommend buying Amazon gift cards first, then Apple gift cards. The advantage of Amazon gift cards is that you can use Shop with points to exchange them for Apple gift cards at an even lower effective cost. Apple gift cards can be loaded into your Apple ID, with a $2,000 limit per account, and can later be used at the Apple Store to buy iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and other devices.
Grocery 10% Off, up to $7.5
- Currently limited to once per week
- No category restrictions
Groceries are a necessity, so 10% off is still pretty good. If you don’t have that much to buy, money orders, Visa gift cards, Amazon gift cards, and Apple gift cards all count too. One thing to note is that Walmart doesn’t count as a grocery store in Cash App, but it sometimes has its own separate Walmart deal (10%, $7.50), so don’t miss it.
CVS 10% off
- Expires in 21 days
- No category restrictions
- Some people may get 15%
Instacart Membership 99% off
Instacart membership 99% off is basically free. Limited to one or two uses. Not a great deal, but better than nothing.
