According to PR Newswire, Cardless will launch a card together with AMEX, and purchases on this card will be processed on the AMEX network. There are still no specific details about the card yet, but since it will run on the AMEX network, it should be possible to add some AMEX Offers through third-party pages.

Cardless has been very active lately and has raised a significant amount of investment. After partnering with AMEX, AMEX will also contribute some investment. Personally, though, I’m not optimistic about this in the long run. The core concept of credit cards itself hasn’t changed; Cardless is mainly attracting a wave of applicants through team-themed cards that appeal more to younger consumers. Hopefully they can launch some unusually rewarding cards for people to take advantage of.
