Cardless was founded in 2019 by Stanford graduates Michael Spelfogel and Scott Kazmeierowicz, and has been at the forefront of co-branded credit card product development. My Take

If you can overlook the fact that the issuer is a newer credit card company, this card itself is still quite worth applying for. For a no-annual-fee card with no foreign transaction fees, a $300-$375 welcome bonus is already quite solid. It also earns 4x on dining, so it could be worth keeping long term. The company just raised funding, so it should be well capitalized in the near term.

Application

  • There are not many DP on this card yet, but other Cardless cards (such as the Cavaliers card) seem relatively easy to get approved for
  • You only need to provide the last four digits of your SSN to apply, and they Pull EX
  • According to the company, this card would not be reported to credit bureaus, but based on DP it ultimately did seem to report
