Benefits

  • Get 2 LATAM airport lounge passes each year after opening the card
  • Receive 3 LATAM upgrade vouchers per calendar year, which can be used to upgrade from full-fare economy to business class (not stackable with those given to LATAM Pass elite members)

Drawbacks

  • Cardless is a relatively new bank, so the benefits and welcome bonus may not be very stable
  • Each person is only allowed to have one Cardless card

My Take

This annual-fee LATAM card does offer some value for frequent LATAM flyers. If you can make use of the lounge passes and upgrade vouchers, the value should easily exceed the $99 annual fee. A 40,000 welcome bonus is also fairly solid for a card with a $99 annual fee. However, Cardless's one-card-per-person rule could become a limitation for churners in the future.
