Capital One Points to JAL: Limited-Time 30% Transfer Bonus (Nearly 1:1)

Capital One's transfer partner Japan Airlines (JAL) is currently offering a limited-time 30% transfer bonus. The usual transfer ratio is 4:3 (1,000:750), but during the promotion it improves to 1,000:975, making it almost a 1:1 transfer. This is especially valuable for booking Japan Airlines business class flights from the U.S. to Asia.

Capital One is currently one of only two programs that support transfers to JAL (the other is Bilt Rewards). Although JAL made some adjustments on June 10, it remains highly competitive on certain routes. JAL miles can be used on oneworld member flights, and fuel surcharges are relatively low. • Atlanta (ATL) → Paris (CDG): about 4,400 miles in distance, with business class costing only 60,000 JAL miles (via Air France)

JAL awards are priced by distance zone, making them especially attractive for long-haul business class redemptions. A round-trip business class flight from the U.S. to Asia often costs just 60,000-80,000 miles, and with this limited-time bonus, the value is even better.
