On June 1, 2026, Bilt Rewards will launch a transfer bonus offer for TAP Air Portugal. Depending on your status level, the transfer bonus ranges from 25% to 100%. In addition, if you redeem $150 in Bilt Cash, you can get an extra 25% bonus, bringing the total bonus to 50% to 125%.

  • Platinum: 100% bonus

Key restrictions:

  • The maximum amount eligible for the bonus transfer per user is 100,000 Bilt points

Redeeming TAP miles for a transatlantic business class award costs 100,000 miles one-way, so the value is only so-so. Even Platinum members who use Bilt Cash to get the full 125% bonus (equivalent to transferring 50,000 Bilt points and receiving 112,500 TAP miles) should still be cautious, or wait for a better transfer partner promo.

That said, the Bilt card itself is still pretty good. The better Rent Day offers are usually transfers to more commonly used partners like JL, UA, and AA, so it may be worth waiting.
