Bilt August Rent Day: Transfer points for an Accor status match, up to Platinum!

Bilt announced its August 2026 Rent Day offer. On August 1 only, Bilt members who transfer a set amount of points to ALL – Accor Live Limitless can receive Accor Silver, Gold, or Platinum status depending on their Bilt tier.

Bilt points transfer to Accor at a 3:2 ratio. Accor points have a relatively fixed value: every 2,000 points can offset €40 in eligible hotel charges. So transferring 5,000 Bilt points gets you about €66.66 in Accor points, while transferring 15,000 points gets you 10,000 Accor points worth €200.

Status validity

• Accor Silver and Gold: After the points transfer, you should receive a dedicated email within 24-48 hours. You need to click the link in the email to activate the status. The status is valid for 12 months from the activation date.
• Accor Platinum: No separate activation is needed. It should update automatically within 5 business days and be valid through December 31, 2027.

The offer page also shows that Silver members who complete 3 stays and Gold members who complete 8 stays may be able to extend their status through December 31, 2027. However, the detailed terms do not yet say within what time period those stays must be completed, so it is best to wait until the official offer terms go live on August 1 before confirming.

What are Accor status benefits?

• Silver: Welcome drink, late checkout, and bonus points.
• Gold: Additional perks such as early check-in, room upgrades, and welcome amenities, subject to hotel availability.
• Platinum: Early check-in and late checkout, room upgrades, lounge access, and breakfast benefits at some properties and in some regions.

Accor doesn't have many hotels in the U.S., but its footprint is broad in Europe and Asia, with brands including Fairmont, Raffles, Sofitel, Swissôtel, Mövenpick, Novotel, and Ibis.

This offer is most appealing for Bilt Platinum members. The 15,000 Bilt points you transfer do not disappear; instead, you get €200 worth of Accor points plus Accor Platinum status valid through the end of 2027. If you have plans to stay at Accor hotels in Asia or Europe over the next year or so, perks like lounge access, breakfast, and late checkout could be quite valuable.

For Bilt Blue, Silver, and Gold members, whether to participate mainly depends on whether you can use the Accor points you receive and whether you plan to stay at Accor hotels in the coming year.
