Early this morning (July 10), AMEX quietly released another large batch of high-value AMEX Offers with no advance notice. So we’re putting together this post to highlight them. Quite a few of the deals below are very popular, so we recommend adding the Offers to your cards as soon as possible before they disappear.

If You Don’t Know What AMEX Offer Is

This article explains the basics of AMEX Offer and how it works. If you’re already familiar with it, feel free to skip this section.

Deals

Best Buy: Spend $300, Get $30 Back

Twitter hashtag: #AmexBestBuy By September 10, make a one-time purchase of $300 or more in-store at Best Buy or at bestbuy.com, and you’ll receive a $30 statement credit. Highlight: just yesterday, the Oculus Rift virtual reality bundle dropped by $200 for a limited time at multiple retailers. The headset + Touch controllers bundle is now only $399 + tax (regularly $599). According to Facebook, this price is only available for a limited time. If you buy the Oculus Rift at Best Buy (link), you can stack this AMEX Offer and effectively pay just $369 before tax. If you’ve been looking to get into VR, this is a very solid opportunity. Note that you’ll need a compatible computer; Oculus Rift does not work with phones.

eBags: Spend $75, Get $15 Back

Twitter hashtag: #AmexeBags By September 30, spend $75 or more cumulatively at ebags.com and receive a $15 statement credit. Also worth noting: United MileagePlus Shopping is currently offering 20 miles per dollar at eBags for a limited time through July 16. That can be stacked with this deal. eBags sells much more than luggage and bags — it also carries plenty of electronics, such as various Bose headphones, portable batteries and chargers, and more. Bose headphones in particular are famously resistant to discounts, so this is a great chance to buy them at a lower price. The best way to use this AMEX Offer is to first buy $75 e-gift cards at ebags.com (delivered by email), in whatever quantity matches the item you want to buy. Then contact eBags customer service via online chat and ask them to combine the gift cards. Finally, click through United MileagePlus Shopping and purchase the item you actually want from eBags. Today, eBags members can also get 20% back on purchases. If you stack all three deals correctly, today’s eBags discount can come out to roughly 60% off, which is especially hard to beat for electronics.

Nike Gift Card

By September 4, buy a $50 Nike gift card at giftcards.nike.com and get $10 back. You must add the Offer in your own AMEX account first.

Petco.com: Spend $50, Get $15 Back

Twitter hashtag: #AmexePetco Pet owners, take note: by September 30, spend $50 or more cumulatively at petco.com and get $15 back. If you want to shop at a local Petco store instead, you can buy a $50 gift card from Petco.com first. Note that it must be a physical gift card; a digital gift card will not trigger the Offer.

Levi's: Spend $125, Get $25 Back

Twitter hashtag: #AmexeLevis
By September 10, spend $125 or more cumulatively at Levi's stores or on its website and get $25 back.
