Hilton “Points Unlimited” Promotion
Hilton has launched its new “Points Unlimited” promotion. During the promotional period, you can earn an extra 2,000 points on each eligible stay, plus an additional 5,000 points for every 5 eligible stays completed. The promotion runs from 1/1/2020 to 5/2/2020.

Hilton survey offer for free points
Some friends recently received an email from Hilton titled “Share your opinion and get 10, 000 Bonus Points.” The email says that by completing a survey, you can get 10,000 Hilton bonus points. It seems users who had not previously linked their Hilton account with Guest Opinion were the ones who received this email. I had already linked mine before, so I didn’t get it—what a missed opportunity.
You can check the details at this link. If your account is not linked yet, you can link it, register, activate it, and complete any survey to receive 10,000 points. Readers who have done the survey report that the points arrive within 4-6 weeks.
[Targeted] Hilton offer: earn 7,500 points after two stays
Hilton currently has an offer where you earn 2,500 points on your first stay and 5,000 points on your second stay, for a total of 7,500 points. The terms say the promotion lasts for about 1 year, from now through 12/31/2020. However, our author KUKU and reader nate_6731 both reported that after registering, the offer showed as valid through 3/31/2021. If you register, feel free to share your end date as well.

The only downside is that this appears to be targeted. The terms say:
This offer is only valid and exclusive to the recipient of the email invitation, is not transferable and is one-time use only.
I tried it and got marked ineligible right away, though some people around me were successful.
Lyft and Hilton partnership: redeem 4,500 Hilton points for $10 in Lyft credit — strongly not recommended
Hilton had already started its partnership with Lyft earlier. On individual Lyft rides, you can earn 3X Hilton points per $1 spent; on shared rides, you can earn 2X Hilton points per $1 spent, up to $10,000 per year. You can link your accounts here.
Now you can also redeem Hilton points for Lyft credits: 4,500 Hilton points can be redeemed for $10 in Lyft credits. That is a very poor value, only about 0.22 cents/point. Hilton points are often worth around 0.4~0.5 cents/point when redeemed for hotel stays. Strongly not recommended!
Marriott
Marriott’s 2021 Q1 double points and double elite night promotion is now live
Marriott’s 2021 Q1 promotion is now live. The promotion is called “Earn double points and double Elite nights on each stay.” As the name suggests, each stay earns double base points and double elite night credits. However, there are some requirements: each eligible stay must include at least two nights, and only paid nights count as eligible. That means if both nights are paid, both nights earn points and elite night credits; if one night is paid and the other uses points or a free night certificate, only the paid night earns points and elite night credits; if both nights use points or certificates, then that stay will not earn points or elite night credits under this promotion.
Registration is now open, and you must register by 4/13/2021. After registration, eligible stays must be completed between 2/16/2021 and 4/27/2021.

Targeted Marriott “Earn Double Points on Weekend Stays” promotion
This appears to be a targeted offer, labeled “Exclusively for you.” You can earn double points on each eligible weekend stay. After registering through the email, the promotion is valid for 3 months. If you didn’t receive the email, you can still try this link.
Targeted Marriott “Exclusively For You” promotion
Stay 1 night and earn 5 Bonus Elite Night Credits, then stay 1 more night and earn another 5 Bonus Elite Night Credits. These credits count toward elite status and cannot be used for stays. This appears to be a targeted offer. If you received the email, don’t forget to register; if you didn’t, you can still try this link.
Refer-a-friend bonus
- If you refer a friend to sign up for a Marriott account, then during your friend’s first year after registration, each of their first five stays can earn both you and your friend 2,000 Marriott points. Marriott allows members to refer up to five people. In other words, through Marriott’s own refer program, you can earn up to 50,000 points per year, and your friend can earn 10,000 points from their stays.

Registration is now open for Hyatt’s “Break away with Bonus Journeys” promotion
Hyatt’s latest promotion, “Break away with Bonus Journeys,” is now open for registration. During the promo period, you can earn an extra 2,000 points for every two qualifying nights stayed (nights do not need to be consecutive). If you have the World of Hyatt credit card, you can earn an additional 500 points on top of that. Also, after staying 10 nights for the first time during the promo period, you will receive one free night certificate valid at Category 1–4 properties.
The promotion runs from March 1, 2021 through June 15, 2021.
Qualifying nights include paid stays, award stays, and stays booked with free night certificates.

Hyatt members can earn up to 4X points per qualifying stay
Hyatt also has its latest “bonus journeys” stay promotion. Non-Hyatt members can earn 3X points on each qualifying stay at any Hyatt hotel, while Hyatt members can earn 4X points on each qualifying stay at Hyatt Resort properties. Earn 1,000 points per night with Best Western
Book and stay through Best Western’s official website, and you can earn 1,000 bonus points per night during the promo period. Members who register for the promotion must book their stay by February 4, 2021, for stays completed by May 2, 2021. There is no limit to how many 1,000-point bonuses you can earn during the promotion, so this is basically encouraging people to stay every night...

Airbnb partnership with British Airways
- Partnership details: If you go to Airbnb through BA’s designated webpage and book a room, you can earn an extra 3 mile/$. In addition, first-time Airbnb bookers can earn an extra 500 points, and first-time hosts can earn an extra 8000 BA miles.
- Our take: Earning 3 miles per dollar spent is quite competitive, but the downside is that you have to access Airbnb through BA’s designated page, which means you cannot use another cashback portal. Also, the 8000 bonus for first-time hosts is pretty nice if you are able to take advantage of it.
