Ximalaya’s domestic app has rolled out a pretty good promotion: for 218 RMB you can buy one year of its membership, plus another 13 memberships for one year, including JD Plus, Tencent Video VIP, iQIYI, NetEase Cloud, Pizza Hut, and other VIP memberships. It also includes a KFC seasonal card and a Mango TV monthly card (note: this is a monthly card). Full membership details are in the screenshot below.
There are two purchase options: one is 268 RMB (purchase via the app or public account, and it can be settled through U.S. Apple Store with a U.S. card, but not recommended), and the other is 218 RMB. The 218 RMB option is the one to choose.

- Total quantity is limited, and 45% is still left. This is a good promotion.
- At checkout, you can select WeChat Pay, and overseas cards (including U.S. cards) can be used for settlement.
- No identity verification is needed, only a phone number. The gifted memberships are primarily tied to the phone (they seem transferable, but SMS verification is required).
Notes:
- 218 RMB for multiple memberships is actually not expensive, especially for many women who need memberships to various video apps. JD is also decent.
- Activating Ximalaya requires a China phone number. If possible, you can also help family members in China register.
- Special Note: Ximalaya’s servers are pretty weak and can’t handle bulk purchases. After purchase, you may need to wait about 10-30 minutes to claim the rewards (you will get an SMS notification from Ximalaya when redemption is available).
- When claiming, go back to the purchase page or download the official app, then tap "Claim Now" to redeem each one (yellow area in the image above). You can redeem to accounts that are not tied to your own phone number, but SMS verification is needed. For other memberships on the phone linked to the Ximalaya account, you can redeem directly or bind to another app and redeem, which is very convenient.
- You need to redeem within 15 days after successful purchase, otherwise it will be void. It is best to redeem as soon as you receive the SMS notification.
- If you don’t receive it after a long time, it will eventually be refunded.
