Originally, hand sanitizer was subject to the standard liquid rule under TSA’s 3-1-1 limit (that is, each container up to 100 ml). But TSA has now increased the carry-on allowance for hand sanitizer to 12 ounces (about 350 ml).

At the same time, TSA also warned that if you carry more than 100 ml of hand sanitizer, it could trigger a secondary manual screening due to security screening equipment, which may slow your progress through security.
