Trump Card is a visa based on an individual's ability to provide substantial benefit to the United States. If your application is approved, you can directly obtain a U.S. green card and qualify for permanent residence in the United States, similar to EB-1 or EB-2 status. Two versions of Trump Card have already launched: Personal Gold and Business Gold. There is also a Trump Platinum card that has not yet officially launched.

Types of Trump Card

Trump has actually issued two personal cards, Gold and Platinum. The requirements are different, and the benefits are different as well.

  • Gold: You must first pay a $15,000 DHS application fee. After approval, you must then pay $1,000,000, and you can obtain the card directly. You then automatically receive U.S. permanent resident status (a green card).
  • Platinum (not yet officially launched): You must first pay a $15,000 DHS application fee. After approval, you must then pay $5,000,000, and you can obtain the card directly. Cardholders can stay in the U.S. for up to 270 days, and income earned outside the U.S. is tax-exempt.

In addition, there is also a card for companies. You can apply on behalf of company members, and you also need to first pay $15,000 to DHS for review. After that, you need to pay $2,000,000 to obtain this Business Gold card. This card can be used for your employee to directly become a U.S. resident, and it can later be transferred to another employee with a 5% transfer fee. This card also has a 1% annual fee, which appears to be $10,000 per year.

Application Steps

Currently, this card requires you to first pay $15,000 to DHS for a background review (the DHS fee is nonrefundable). Only after approval will you receive an email asking you to pay the remaining $1,000,000 or $2,000,000. If you have questions, you can contact the email address below.

The application process is very simple. You only need to choose which card you want to apply for and then fill in your personal information.

Applying for Gold

For example, if you want to apply for the Gold card, you only need to fill in your personal information.

Then go to the payment page and complete the payment. Note that if you pay the $15,000 DHS fee by credit card, you need to pay an additional 2.5% processing fee.

Of course, after submitting payment, you still need to submit Form I-140G to DHS.

How to Pay

$15,000 DHS Fee

The $15,000 DHS application fee can be paid by credit card or bank account. Credit cards have an additional 2.5% processing fee.

$15,000 nonrefundable processing fee: Credit Card (U.S. and international) ; ACH debit (U.S. bank accounts only) .

If you have a card that earns 2x or better, or if you need to meet a minimum spending requirement, this $15,000 + 2.5% charge could be useful. The two cards below are both decent options.

$1,000,000 or $2,000,000

This fee is paid directly to the U.S. government. The rules say it can only be paid through Wise or a bank transfer, and not by credit card.

$1 million or $2 million gift payment (depending on type of applicant): Upon receiving an email after vetting is complete, applicants or their corporate sponsors should instruct their banks to use an ACH debit or Swift Wire Transfer (U.S. and international bank accounts) according to the instructions provided at that time.

Visa-related fees: The applicant will receive information directly from the U.S. Department of State on how to submit the visa application fee and payments for the required medical examination.
