About the TopCashback Chinese Site

We previously introduced the U.S. site of the cashback portal TopCashback (TCB). Its payout rates are solid, tracking is fairly fast, and it often has various money-maker deals, so it’s been very useful. Thinking about it, I’ve been using their cashback service for around ten years and have earned quite a bit of cashback over time.

TopCashback has actually launched a dedicated Chinese-language site for Chinese users. The entire interface is in Chinese, and quite a few merchants popular with Chinese shoppers offer high cashback rates there, making it especially useful for cross-border shopping. For cashing out, it also supports Chinese bank accounts, which is very convenient. After comparing the two, I found that the Chinese site has mostly the same merchants as the U.S. site, but it also adds several China-based merchants with cashback, such as Apple.cn, JD, and Ctrip, which is a nice bonus.

Sign-Up and Bonus

Right now, the TopCashback Chinese site is offering a limited-time $20 cashback sign-up bonus. If you register directly through the official site or a regular referral link, there is no bonus.

This $20 is also easy to earn: after joining TopCashback, just make a purchase of more than $10 that tracks for cashback. Note that the Chinese site and the U.S. site have separate accounts and separate bonuses, so you can earn bonuses from both. You can even register with the same email address. In other words, you can effectively get the $20 sign-up bonus twice.

After registering, you should see the $20 listed as pending.

Using the TCB Chinese Site

The only real difference is that the interface is in Chinese; otherwise, it works just like any standard cashback site. I won’t repeat the basic usage here. Instead, let’s focus on where it has an edge.

Its merchants offer fairly strong cashback rates, especially at brands popular with Chinese shoppers, such as Estée Lauder, Adidas, Nike, Space NK, and iHerb. Cashback can go as high as 15%, which makes it particularly useful during major shopping seasons. Also, many of the most popular merchants on the platform work well for cross-border shopping and are not very sensitive to warehouse addresses, so they tend to be easier to use.

In addition, it also offers cashback for websites in mainland China, such as DiDi, Apple China, JD, and Ctrip. If you want to buy things for family in China or book tickets for them, you can use it there too and earn a bit of extra cashback.

If you like buying points, the TCB Chinese site also offers decent cashback for that. Just search for points.com.

Withdrawing Cashback

There are two ways to withdraw cashback: PayPal or a Chinese bank account.

Chinese bank support is fairly broad, including most standard banks. Note that you also need to enter your ID number.

Bottom Line

The TCB Chinese site is a friendly option for Chinese users who do not like browsing in English. The process for earning cashback is exactly the same as on the U.S. site, while the merchant lineup also includes extra categories and boosted rates geared toward Chinese shoppers.

In addition, the sign-up bonus is separate from the U.S. site, so you can get another $20, which is pretty nice. Even if you do not want to receive payouts via a Chinese bank account, you can simply choose PayPal instead.
