[12/20 Update] By now, most people have probably received their first snack box. Personally, I thought it was pretty disappointing—especially those beans, which were almost inedible. After you receive the first box, you can cancel future shipments, so don’t forget or you may keep getting charged. See how here: Cancel Graze BOX

About This Deal
Through Swagbucks, an online rewards site, you can click through to Graze.com and order a snack sample box (regularly $6) for just $1 for the first month, including shipping. You’ll also earn 500 Swagbucks, worth $5. Spend $1 and get $5 back, for a $4 money maker. The SB should post to your Swagbucks account right away and be available immediately. (Thanks to reader Vivian for the tip.)
One of the best ways to redeem SB is 2200 SB for a $25 Amazon, Walmart, or Target gift card. You can also redeem 2500 SB directly for $25 in PayPal Credit.
Graze.com is a snack sample subscription service, similar to Birchbox. If you don’t want to keep it, be sure to cancel.
Each Swagbucks account can only get this Graze.com offer once. These deals are usually limited-time only, so once they expire, they’re gone.
How to Get It
- Sign up for Swagbucks: Swagbucks sign-up link (new members can get 500 SB; see how in this article)
- In the search bar at the top of Swagbucks, search for Graze and you should see this deal.
- Click View Offer to go directly to the offer page, where you’ll see that the first month costs only
- Click Get Started Now. You’ll see the first box is $1, and after that it’s $12 each time, so remember to cancel later on. (More details below.)
- Create an account, enter your address, and complete the purchase. You should also be able to see the shipping time.
- You can now see in your SB account activity that the 500 SB has already posted and is available immediately.
- 500 SB is enough to redeem for plenty of rewards, such as Amazon gift cards. For other redemptions like PayPal and eBay gift cards, see: SB redemption guide
- Don’t celebrate too early—it’s best to delay the next shipment now so you’re ready to cancel later.
Delay the Next Shipment and Cancel the Subscription
Since the snack box ships weekly by default, before canceling the subscription you should first push the next shipment as far out as possible. Important: do not cancel the first shipment, or your SB may be clawed back.
Delay the Order
- Click My Account and select the recurring order (the one in the red box labeled every xx week).
- Under Manage Order, change the delivery frequency to the longest option, once every 4 weeks, and then move the next box due date out to the latest available date in January.
Cancel Future Orders
In theory, you can cancel all future orders directly and the first box should still ship. To be safe, though, it’s recommended to wait until the first box has shipped or arrived before canceling using the steps below.
- Click My Account and select the recurring order (the one in the red box labeled every xx week).
- Under Manage Order, choose More options, and you’ll see the option to cancel the order.
- Just cancel it, and you’re done.
Things to Know
- If you cancel the first shipment directly, Swagbucks will claw back the reward.
- You must click through to Graze from the Swagbucks link and complete the order that way.
- If the Swagbucks ultimately does not post, you can submit a ticket. See: How to handle Missing SB
- The best-value redemption is usually 2200 SB for a $25 Amazon, Walmart, or Target gift card.
