[4/1 Update] Lemoney changed its terms and added an inactive fee. In short, if you have not made at least $25 in purchases through the Lemoney cashback portal within 12 months, you may be charged $5 per month until your balance is depleted or you become active again. If you do not use the account for 2 years, it may be closed. In my experience, Lemoney’s rates are fairly good when using Turbo Cashback, but payouts are extremely slow, usually pending for more than 4 months.
- “Active” – the status for members who have performed at least one Qualifying Activity (a purchase of at least $25.00 or referral of a friend who makes a purchase of at least $25.00 within 8 months after joining Lemoney) in the past 6 months.
- “Dormant” – the status for members who last performed a Qualifying Activity between 6 and 12 months ago.
- “Inactive” – the status for members who have not performed a Qualifying Activity for more than 12 months. Inactive members may have their account cancelled. If an Inactive account’s balance is zero, the account will be permanently terminated one month after becoming Inactive. If such account’s balance is more than zero, Lemoney reserves the right to deduct a maintenance fee of $5.00 per month from an Inactive account until the account becomes Active again or until the Account Balance reaches zero. [3/13 Update] After the Turbo Credit changes, you can now choose the cashback boost multiplier for a purchase at the time you click through. The awkward part is that if you do not complete the purchase after that click, the Turbo Credit is still deducted from your account. Fortunately, Lemoney provides a way to adjust the number of Turbo Credits used. Under My Cashback, you can see your recent clicks and the cashback associated with each click. If a purchase from that click did not track, you can remove the credits used for that click. If it did track, you can consider adding more credits. You can also plan how to use your Turbo Credits across multiple purchases based on purchase amounts and each merchant’s Turbo spending cap.

[1/22 Update] After a long wait, this portal’s Community Cashback finally became available to claim. Based on the current setup, it looks like the annual bonus is distributed in one batch at the beginning of the following year. Withdrawals are also pretty slow: I submitted a request on 1/10 and the money did not reach PayPal until 1/22. Still, at least they did pay. Lemoney has also made some changes and is now focused more on Turbo Cashback. You can use up to 5 Turbo Credits on a single purchase and get more than 50% cashback. However, keep in mind that this very high rate applies only to the first $50-60 of spending, depending on the store; anything above that earns cashback at the regular rate. Various promotions can also help you earn more Turbo Credits. Overall, it offers more ways to play the game than a typical cashback portal.

About Lemoney
Lemoney is a cashback portal launched in 2017. In addition to the standard extra cashback you earn from online shopping, Lemoney also has a unique community feature. Anyone can create a community and invite others to join. After that, you can earn a percentage of the cashback generated by all members in your community. You can also complete certain tasks to multiply your community cashback and earn even more. On top of that, you can get one chance each month for very high cashback at a merchant, and many of the rates are quite good. Overall, it seems to have some interesting features.
Signup and Signup Bonus
If you sign up through a referral link now, you can get 1 Turbo Credit. You can use it to boost a merchant and earn very high cashback on your purchase.

During signup, you can also create your own community and invite others to join.
After signing up, you can see your Turbo Credit in the interface.
Basic Features
Earning Cashback
Like other cashback portals, if you want to shop at walmart.com and earn cashback, just open the Lemoney page, search for Walmart in the search bar, and go to the merchant page.
On the page, you can see the cashback rate and the cashback terms. It is a good idea to skim them so your purchase does not end up ineligible for cashback.
Click Tracking
After visiting a merchant, you can see that visit record under My Cashback in your account.
Withdrawing Cashback
Lemoney requires at least $25 in your account before you can redeem cashback. At the moment, PayPal is the only withdrawal option.
Special Features
Turbo Cashback
Each account gets one Turbo Cashback opportunity every month. The cashback rate can be very high, usually about 4-5x the normal rate, which is pretty appealing.
However, note that this very high percentage comes with limits. For example, at Walmart only the first $123 currently qualifies for 12% cashback, so the maximum cashback is about $15. Any amount above that earns at the regular rate.
When you enter a merchant page, you will be asked whether you want to use Turbo Cashback for that purchase. Since this is a one-time boost, it is best used on larger purchases where the Turbo rate is much higher than the regular cashback rate.
Community Cashback
One of Lemoney’s standout features is its community system. Anyone can create a community and invite others to join through their referral link. After that, you can earn a percentage of the cashback generated by all members in your community. This percentage depends on your current level and is calculated by Lemoney.
In addition, by completing certain tasks you can multiply your community cashback and earn more. This is the C-Bonus shown in the image above. Once earned, it can multiply the cashback from community rewards by up to 5x. In short, it is basically Lemoney’s way of encouraging users to refer more friends into their communities.
Referral Bonus
Lemoney’s refer-a-friend reward is also a bit unusual: your friend gets 1 Turbo Credit, and you get 1 as well.
Bottom Line
As a newer cashback portal, Lemoney has clearly tried to build something a little different. Personally, its biggest advantage seems to be the once-a-month Turbo Cashback feature. That said, what matters most for a cashback portal’s long-term value is reliable tracking and consistently competitive cashback rates. It makes sense to compare a few portals and stick with the ones that fit you best; using too many does not add much value and only increases the hassle of managing them.
