Some Chase branches are still open on Saturday, though with limited hours, so be sure to check the branch hours. The Sapphire Reserve card offers applicants a 100,000-point Ultimate Rewards sign-up bonus after spending $4,000 within 3 months of account opening. The card has a $450 annual fee, but it also offers a $300 annual travel credit. In addition, it comes with Priority Pass Select membership, which gives access to many airport lounges. The card is also excellent for earning points, with 3x points on travel and dining.
5/24 Rule
Unfortunately, the Sapphire Reserve is subject to the 5/24 rule. If an applicant has opened 5 or more credit cards in the past 2 years (from any card issuer, but excluding authorized user cards), the application will be automatically denied. However, this restriction does not apply to applicants who can see a Pre-Approval Offer at a Chase branch. We strongly recommend that anyone who has not opened 5 cards within the past 2 years apply for the Sapphire Reserve as soon as possible. A 100,000-point sign-up bonus is unlikely to appear again, and this is the best time to get this card. If you are over 5/24, we still recommend visiting a branch to check whether you have a Pre-Approval Offer for this card. Even if you did not have one before, you may have one now, because the Pre-Approval list can change every month.
