Singapore Airlines and Marriott launch points transfers at 2:1 and 3:1 ratios

After Cathay Pacific launched points transfers with Marriott, Singapore Airlines (KrisFlyer) has also started allowing points transfers with Marriott. The ratios are not very favorable: 2 KrisFlyer miles convert to 1 Marriott point. In the other direction, 3 Marriott points convert to 1 KrisFlyer mile.

Still, if you have KrisFlyer miles you cannot use, this can be a way to turn them into Marriott points, which can be spent on hotel stays fairly quickly.
