Today we’re introducing a handy hotel comparison tool, Hotel Hustle. It works like a normal hotel comparison site, but it also supports searching both points and paid rates, so you can easily compare all hotel options and book at the lowest possible cost. Hotel Hustle is developed by Wandering Aramean, who maintains a range of travel tools on their website.How to use it
Click here to open Hotel Hustle. Just enter the location and dates you need, then click Search, just like you normally do when searching for hotels. Here, I used New York as an example and picked an arbitrary date.
Because they need to pull pricing and points-availability information for all hotels, search can be somewhat slow here, so allow some time.
The search results are also very easy to read. On the right there is a list of all returned results, sorted from lowest to highest by point valuation (if you log in, you can set your own valuation for each type of points). It also shows the cash price if you choose to pay. Comparing is very easy. It even includes prices for Cash & Points.
Premium features
Hotel Hustle also offers premium features. As you can see in the screenshot above, some points results that don’t return available redemption options will show a button to add an alert (Create Alert!). Once you set the alert, the site automatically and regularly rechecks whether that points redemption option has been released by the hotel, and proactively notifies users when it becomes available. Note that this feature is available only to premium users and costs $2.99 a month.Overall, Hotel Hustle’s free features already meet most users’ needs, allowing quick comparisons of all hotel redemption and paid options and listing them out.
