[Update 2025.7] This card now has a $150 welcome bonus plus 12 months of 0% APR, which is likely the best offer we’ve seen on it recently. It earns a steady 2% cash back, has no annual fee, includes TSA/GE reimbursement, and is backed by Fidelity. If you want a simple keeper card, this is a solid one to put everyday spend on.
Note that if you have had this card or received a welcome bonus on it within the past five years, you will not be eligible for a new welcome bonus.
Existing or previous Fidelity Visa Signature card members are not eligible for this offer if you have received a new account bonus for this product in the last five years.

Benefits
- This card no longer charges foreign transaction fees. As a long-standing 2% cash back card, removing this fee makes it much more useful for purchases outside the US as well.
Your card is better than ever. You will no longer be charged foreign transaction fees when making international purchases with your Fidelity® Rewards Visa Signature® Card. You card has been automatically updated. There’s nothing you need to do, simply continue to use your card and earn Reward Points on everyday purchases.
- This card now includes up to $100 (10,000 points) in reimbursement for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry once every four years. For a no-annual-fee card that also earns 2%, that’s a pretty nice perk. News link
About Rewards+
Fidelity Rewards+ is a special benefit tied to Fidelity Wealth Management. Fidelity automatically assigns your tier based on your assets, but the asset requirement is fairly high, starting at $250,000.
The benefits for each tier are shown below. Realistically, someone with $2,000,000 in assets probably does not care much whether the cash back rate is 3% or 2%.
One important thing to note is that Fidelity Wealth Management charges an Advisory Fee, with a minimum of 0.5%. That means the minimum cost is $250,000*0.5%=$1,250, so trying to offset that fee with the extra cash back is not very realistic. You could say this new perk is not especially useful for most of us. Or, put another way, if you pay $10,000 in management fees, you can get the world’s highest unlimited 3% cash back!
My Take
In June 2016, Fidelity officially ended its partnership with BofA, and the Fidelity Investment Rewards AMEX was converted to this Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature, which is managed by Elan Financial Services. The 2% cash back rate stayed the same, but the card changed from AMEX to a Visa Signature card. This card is similar to the Citi Double Cash in that all purchases can earn 2% cash back.
- All purchases earn 2% cash back, making it especially good for miscellaneous spending.
- There is no annual fee, so it can be kept long term to help build credit history.
If you already have the Citi Double Cash, this card is not quite as necessary because the core features are very similar and both earn 2% cash back. However, the Double Cash is much easier to get, since you can directly product change from another Citi card you no longer want.
Application
If you have any Fidelity account, you can log in on the website and apply directly. If not, you can only apply by phone. Also note that the welcome bonus offered by phone may differ from the one available online.
