Discover has now added Walmart gift card redemptions, with an extra 5% discount: a $100 GC requires $95 in cash back to redeem. Walmart gift cards can basically be used to buy almost anything sold there except gift cards, and they can also be used at Sam's Club, so this does have some value.
Walmart gift cards are e-gift cards, with amounts ranging from $5-$200.
In addition, other gift cards are discounted by up to 20%, which is pretty decent. If you're interested, it's worth taking a look. Gift cards such as GAP and nike can also be useful.
