Over the past few months, quite a few Discover it credit cards have been forcibly converted to Discover it Miles (with notice sent by email). This has mainly happened to Discover it cards that have gone unused for a long time. HT: Doc

Discover it Miles also has its own notable features:

If your card was forcibly converted and you do not like the Miles card, besides calling customer service, the easiest way is to manually switch it back through the link below:

Below is a product-change DP from KUKU using the link above (from Discover it to Discover it Miles; the reverse should probably also work):

  • Using the link to convert a Discover it card, the available options are Discover it Miles or Discover Chrome
  • After submitting the conversion, it does not take effect immediately. You need to wait for one statement cycle for the conversion to be completed. The new card keeps the same card number, CVV, and expiration date as the old card. The only changes are that the front of the card adds “Miles” at the lower right, and on the back, the lower-right code changes from A001 to A006; the number after X also changes. Once the new card arrives, you will of course need to activate it.
