Not long after Apple’s new product announcement, we got some good news: starting September 16, Discover will finally support Apple Pay! To celebrate this historic moment, Discover is offering a nice deal: through the end of this year, if you use Apple Pay in stores with your Discover card (online purchases do not qualify), you can earn 10% cashback! If you enrolled in Discover’s Double Cashback Promotion, that means at least 20% cashback! Note that this 10%/20% cashback is capped and only applies to the first $10,000 in spending.
If you don’t yet have a Discover credit card, you can apply using our referral link below (if you’ve found this site helpful, we’d appreciate you using this link. Thank you for supporting US Credit Card 101):

New users approved by September 30 can enroll in the Double Cashback Promotion, which includes a doubled signup bonus ($50 becomes $100), at least 20% cashback when paying with Apple Pay, and 10% cashback on purchases in the quarterly 5% bonus categories. (So if you use Apple Pay at Macy's, you could get 30% cashback, equivalent to an extra 30% off storewide!) For details, see these two articles:

A new quarter has started: are your Discover, Freedom, and Dividend cards ready?
Stores that support Apple Pay include Duane Reade, Office Depot, Office Max, ToysRus, Wegmans, Whole Foods, Walgreens, Express, GameStop, Macy's, and more. You can find the full list on Apple’s official website, here.
OneMoreDay’s Discover credit card is already enrolled in the Double Cashback Promotion. Unfortunately, my old iPhone still can’t use Apple Pay, so I’m thinking about upgrading to a new iPhone. Which model and color do you recommend? Feel free to leave a comment.
