There have recently been some online DP reports of successfully matching referral bonuses. If your referral posted successfully, it may be worth asking whether it can be increased from 20,000 to 40,000. Also, if you applied through a 40k refer link and received the 75,000 bonus, you can try asking whether Chase will match it to the current public 90,000 welcome bonus. In any case, sending a secure message is pretty convenient, and remember to attach screenshots of the various offers.
Chase has now increased the refer-a-friend bonus across the Chase Ink business credit card lineup. You can earn up to 40,000 UR points per approved referral. The annual referral cap has also been increased, from 100,000 to 200,000, which means up to 5 referrals per year.
Unfortunately, referral links for Ink Cash and Ink Unlimited do not show the current best 90,000 offer; they only show 75,000. Still, if you get a refer link from a friend or family member, the total points earned in the household are theoretically a bit higher than applying directly, so it can still be worth considering.
Earlier, AMEX also increased referral bonuses on various cards. My guess is that banks have found customers acquired through referrals tend to have better retention and spending patterns, making them more valuable, so they are putting more effort into referrals.
